After accomplishment, it is impossible not to have subtle mental thoughts of grasping at form. This is the mind that grasps with the eye; because the mind that distinguishes between the grasper and the grasped is called "mind," therefore, wherever there is mind, there is what is called a "sentient being." Similarly, if one thinks there is an ear, then its consciousness is related to sound; if one thinks there is a nose, then the nose consciousness is related to smell; If one thinks there is a tongue, then the tongue consciousness is related to taste; if one thinks there is a body, then the body consciousness is related to touch, all of which are the objects grasped by them. The collections of thoughts that approach and take hold of these are the minds that grasp them. As before, wherever there is mind, there is what is called a "sentient being." If one thinks there is a Buddha who has not transcended the grasper and the grasped, 6༄༅། །then the way his qualities enter into sentient beings is like that of people and people. If one thinks that the Buddha teaches the Dharma to others, then if there appears and is grasped a teacher "I," the Dharma to be taught, and the sentient beings to be taught, then this does not even have a sesame seed's worth of characteristics that transcend sentient beings, so everything is sentient beings. If one thinks that a comfortable environment, beautiful form, good friends, great enjoyment and happiness, and absence of anger and attachment are special qualities, then this also cannot transcend the gods of the form realm, so it is sentient beings. Ultimately, one's own ground, Samantabhadra, is called the Sugata of the three times. In the ultimate truth, the Buddha has never come into the world, nor has he ever taught the Dharma, but rather, in many tantras, agamas, and instructions, the way in which the teacher who appears to the object of taming appears to oneself is clearly explained, look at these! Realize! Furthermore, if one thinks that there exist and are established other places of samsara, that many sentient beings go there, and that they experience happiness and suffering through oral transmission, this is also unreasonable. If the remains of the previous body appearing to be abandoned are true, then from where does the body of the intermediate state come? If present sentient beings die merely from wounds and burns on their limbs, and from a day or two of cold in winter, then why is it that the body that experiences heat and cold in hell, even after being cooked and burned for a long time, does not die? Similarly, if one can die now merely from a few months or days of famine, then the sentient beings of the preta realm must endure kalpas.

If there is a famine, will people not die? Therefore, all sentient beings of the six realms, including the bardo, appear like the arising of a dream, but are not actually established. They are deluded because they develop a belief in the reality of emptiness, which has no place to be found. If you thus ascertain the appearance of delusion and realize the emptiness of no reality and no place to be found, you will completely shake off samsara. If you are convinced that the Buddha is not outside of yourself and have confidence in yourself, you will rightfully obtain the name "many Buddhas are self-liberated." O Lord of the Sky, All-Pervading Vajra, may you ascertain all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana as utterly empty and realize the nature of non-existence! Having said this, he disappeared. Then, after I had long ascertained and become convinced of non-existence, although I knew that all appearances of the container and its contents were empty from their own side, there was a time when there were many inexpressible emptinesses. When I met the Great Supreme Vajra Krodha, who displays the play of emptiness of samsara and nirvana, chanting the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) song, I said: O Supreme Great Deity, although I understand samsara and nirvana as emptiness, what is the reason for this emptiness that is neither beneficial nor harmful? After I asked this, O Noble Son, Lord of the Sky, you should seal all of samsara and nirvana in emptiness! You should seal emptiness in its own essence! You should seal essence in the ground! You should seal samsara and nirvana in the dance of the ground! You should seal the general principle of samsara and nirvana in the ground itself! The stars of the ocean are the ocean. The container and its contents are the sky. Know that the dances of the dharmata of samsara and nirvana, as well as the bonds and the dharmata that pervade and expand, are metaphors and examples of metaphors! Therefore, you will become a yogi of the complete union of samsara and nirvana! Having said this, he disappeared. Then, in a pure dream vision of seven years, when I met the Dharmakaya Teacher Vajradhara, I said: O Teacher, Blessed One, please show me how to be liberated on the path of liberation and omniscience, and how to be deluded on the impure path of samsara. Teacher, please show me yourself! After I requested this, he gave the teaching: O Great Being, listen! Buddha
