Within the world, among sentient beings, these sights of the five desires, like the dissolving of a magical illusion, dissolve into the empty expanse of space, and finally, through the magic of the stirring of karmic winds, from the appearance of my body, all the vessel and essence of the dream arise, and due to attachment, delusion arises, and again, that appearing world, like a rainbow dissolving into the sky, dissolves into the empty expanse of space, and again, as before, the daytime appearance arises. Thus it was said. I asked thus: Is this body of mine not merely an appearance, but necessarily born from the causes and conditions of parents? Thus I asked. If you think that your body is born from father and mother, then please tell me what are the beginning, end, birth place, dwelling place, and destination of the parents? Thus it was said. I think, although there is, I cannot remember. I thought in my heart that a body without parents is impossible. Thus I asked. Please look at what are the parents of the dream, the intermediate state, and the hell body, etc.? Thus it was said. This body is not merely composed of appearance T1616 - 312 ༄༅། །The version has been confirmed. Again, venerable Lama. I feel that my body is covered with clothes on the bed, and together with the human world, remains unchanged, while the appearance of the dream arises. Thus I asked. The Lama said: The external appearance of the vessel world is vast, the internal moving sentient beings are numerous, and the dream with the beautifully arranged sights of the five desires in the middle, from which part of the body, head and limbs, upper and lower body, does it arise, please observe its location. Thus it was said. Although it was determined that it was not, venerable Lama. Consciousness went to another place, so the dream appeared. I think that when I re-enter the body, the daytime appearance will appear. Thus I asked. The Lama said: Oh, then, If that is the case, then this body becomes like a house, so please point out the place like the door of the house, which is the place where consciousness enters and exits. Not only that, but the location of the mind must also be determined. If the mind is in the upper part of the body, then how can it feel pain when the lower part is pricked by a thorn? If it is in the lower part, then likewise there is no reason to feel pain in the upper part. First from the hole The subtle consciousness that enters and exits will also expand and pervade the whole body. Shrinking again, how big will it become when it comes out of the subtle hole?

I don't think so. If that's the case, then why wouldn't that consciousness, which is separated from matter and awareness, re-enter matter again at the time of death? The realm of dreams that has gone to another place, in which direction of up, down, and cardinal directions does it exist? Do you think it is the same as the container and contents of the daytime appearance, or do you think it is different? If you think it is the same, then does sleep interrupt it or not? If it is interrupted, then it is not the daytime appearance. If it is not interrupted, then it is not a dream appearance. Or, there is no other possibility than to think that the appearance itself exists through the ways of up and down or inside and outside. He said. Again, I asked the Lama: So, what is the final conclusion? What place can hold it? I requested the supreme Lama to teach, and the Lama said: In all times since beginningless lifetimes, one has never truly been born, but only the appearance of being born. One has never truly died, but only the transformation of appearance, such as dreams and daytime appearances. In the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body, all that is seen, heard, felt, tasted, and touched as forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures are self-appearances arising in oneself. Only that, and nothing else, not even the tip of a hair has ever existed. If one thinks that what is seen with the naked eye, grasped with the hand, and experienced through the senses exists outside of oneself If that's what you think, then all the forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures in a dream appear to be true at that time, but when you wake up, you know that they are nowhere to be found and have never existed, which shows the problem. The life of samsara has never moved or gone anywhere from beginningless time. The state of not dwelling in other places is like the appearance of a dream. If you think that the truth and falsehood of dreams and daytime appearances are not the same Then look at whether the work, agriculture, efforts, accumulation, and storage in dreams and daytime appearances from birth to the present are the same or not. If you carefully study the differences in the length of time and the amount of quantity between the two, you will determine that they are the same. Moreover, if dreams are untrue and daytime appearances are true, then dreams are false and daytime appearances are true. Then one must think that in dreams there are sentient beings, and in the daytime there are Buddhas. If both are illusions, then there is no difference between truth and falsehood. Because taking what is not true as true appearing and clinging to it is called illusion. In the past, one ate Mount Meru as food and drank the ocean as water, but still does not feel full. One wore the three thousand worlds as clothes, but still does not feel warm.
