One should contemplate: If one does not strive for liberation now, relying on this precious human body, then a leisure and endowment human body will not be obtained again and again; even if one strives for virtue this time, one may obtain a human body as a result in the future, but during that time, it is uncertain whether one will do good or evil, so it is difficult to obtain the path to liberation. Why is a human body so rare? Because the human body as a result is produced from the cause of virtue; since sentient beings who strive for virtue are extremely rare, one should know that the human body as a result is also extremely rare. The human body with leisure and endowment is like a wish-fulfilling jewel that is more rare than all jewels, just as it is not obtained by a universal monarch who is complete with merit and power; likewise, the human body is not obtained by ordinary sentient beings unless the accumulated karma and merit from the past are ripe. You should contemplate with your mind! In general, considering the total number of the six realms of beings, how rare a human body is; in particular, seeing the number and levels of birds, dogs, wild animals, and even small insects, contemplate how rare a human body is; even among those who have obtained a human body, one should examine and contemplate how rare it is to obtain leisure and endowment, and strive to train the mind, which is the most profound and important point, be sure to know! All the Buddhas of the past and the vidyadhara accomplished ones attained the state of omniscient Buddhahood by relying on this precious human body; there is no more excellent basis for accomplishing Buddhahood than this, in any place or realm, one should remember its qualities! Now, if one does not find a path to liberation for oneself by means of this special human body with leisure and endowment, it is like a poor person exchanging a wish-fulfilling jewel for agate; It is like a person who wastes his life, whose belly is empty; no matter how much happiness there is in this life, those who grow old in ease without meaning are buying evil deeds with suffering. Therefore, one should always think, "Now I must make leisure and endowment meaningful," and not separate from this thought, which is the most important and precious point, be sure to know! That is the meaning.

Now, to contemplate and make this precious human life meaningful, pray to the Lama: This precious human life is extremely difficult to find, a meaningful human body that has attained its essence. I pray to the precious Lama, please bless me, Lord of incomparable kindness. Keep these meanings in mind and recite these words. Second, contemplate the impermanence of life and death: Even if you have obtained a precious human body and are content with just that, this life is nothing more than a dreamlike appearance, and you are sure to die. The external appearance of the container world is vast and wide, and the internal moving sentient beings are numerous and growing rapidly, but all of this is also impermanent. Eventually, at the time of the end of the kalpa, first, all sentient beings die first, and the latter do not appear, and finally, on this earth, there are no sentient beings, and after a long time, seven suns descend in succession, gradually burning from small objects, all land, stones, mountains burn into the nature of fire, burn to ashes, and even below the abode of the first dhyana gods, there is not even a speck of dust left. It will form again, and after seven times like this, when it is destroyed by water, it will dissolve like salt water from below the abode of the second dhyana gods, and after this happens seven times, when it is destroyed by wind, it will be destroyed from below the abode of the third dhyana gods, and everything will become an empty space. Such a moment is bound to happen. Even such a stable and moving world is so impermanent, so what about one's own body, which is like a water bubble or a flower, easily destroyed by conditions? Think about this and train your mind. In addition, the Buddhas of the past, the Vajra bodies adorned with marks and signs, are also impermanent, entering Nirvana, so what are we? Think about it this way. After that, the gods and sages, Brahma and Indra, etc., who have merit and samadhi accomplishments, and are masters of glory, power, and authority, are also impermanent, so what can we say? Think about it this way. After that, the universal monarchs, and Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡). All beings born before, not one has not died, so you are sure to die. After that, from the time you remember, all sentient beings die Think about the number and order of deaths, and then
