During the intermediate eon, the secret lord Vajrapani, bound by oath and empowered as servants the eight classes of gods and demons of the command, and the gods and spirits of existence and the world. After that, in the final age, the master Padmasambhava, bound by oath and made servants of the arrogant gods and demons of existence, entrusted the responsibility of protecting the teachings, averted obstacles and adverse conditions to practice, and commanded the subduing of the enemies of the teachings, vowing to accomplish the activities.
