When you see the true nature of Dzogchen, have unwavering faith and do not seek the Buddha and cause and effect elsewhere. When you see the great luminosity, know that the bonds of grasping and being grasped are instantly liberated. When the initial awareness expands into luminosity, know that it is the radiance of self-born wisdom, do not cling to it, and understand the key point of resting in the natural state. The profound oral instructions that are free from names and words are introduced into the path of words, and their meaning is characterized by signs. Just as one recognizes this mountain by relying on that mountain, be skilled in the key points. The so-called "abiding in awareness" is abiding in the natural state of reality. Do not mistake the clinging consciousness for awareness, and grasp this key point. Know that all luminous appearances are the self-arising radiance of awareness, appearing in oneself, and do not cling to inner, outer, or intermediate, this is the key point. When the eye of wisdom merges with the eye of prajna, luminosity will appear there, and you must thoroughly understand this key point. The tenth chapter on preventing the path from going astray. Guhya! Now, those practitioners who practice this path, first of all, for about a month, rely on the sun during the day, the moon at night, and butter lamps and crystals in the intermediate periods to practice, this is necessary to stabilize the key points of the door. This is because the heat of the sun during the day will cause the eyes to heat up, and the cool rays of the moon at night will ཕ༔ kill the heat, this is one key point to prevent the sense gates from being obstructed. Looking at a place that does not touch any object of support is the key point of cherishing the eyes. When the luminous appearance is slightly stable, the direction of viewing should also be changed, looking west in the morning and east in the afternoon. It is always very important to practice by relying on the bright places where the sky can be seen, such as windows and slits. If you look at the sun and moon for a long time, the light of the eyes will be taken away and become dim. Abandon all fabrications such as the hope of the luminous appearance arising and the doubts of not arising, and the efforts made to generate the luminous appearance, close your eyes halfway, and rest in the natural state of the place where you are looking, so that even if you do not see it at first, it will gradually become clearer later, this is without a doubt. Do not be confused by these key points, and always strive to practice diligently. Sometimes it is said: The eyes are blind

Although some say that faults will arise, do not doubt this, because the Vidyadharas and accomplished ones of the past who attained Buddhahood in the great transformation of the rainbow body were liberated by relying on this entrance to the path, and their eyes were not blinded. If one's eyes are fully open throughout one's life, and one does not go blind from looking at light and scenery, then there is no reason to go blind with half-closed eyes. Know that this must be the deceptive words of demons. If someone says that this is only the practice of ascetics and not for others, then, since becoming a renunciate, all Dharmas are the practice of ascetics, but those who possess such qualities are rare. No matter who practices in any place, as long as they do not separate from the precious Guru and practice with the power of strong diligence, they will surely attain liberation. Some say that it is not the time to practice Tögal until one has attained liberation through Trekchö. Although when one attains liberation through Trekchö, there is no need to rely on other paths, because the path of Trekchö is slow and very few attain liberation, relying on the swift and profound path of Tögal has the key to attaining liberation without delay, therefore this path is unsurpassed. Some say that this Tögal has many obstacles and deviations, and the difference between good and bad is very great. That is also true. No matter which path you rely on, if you are not guided by a qualified Guru, there can be no path without obstacles and deviations. Be sure to understand this by analyzing with wisdom. Nowadays, because the teachings of Dzogchen are declining, there are many who slander and denigrate this path. The reason for this is that some have no connection with this vehicle for countless eons; some are defiled by demons and Rahu and have strayed far from the correct path; and some have lost their autonomy and are controlled by others, following others and distancing themselves from this path. Those who enter this path must devote themselves wholeheartedly and not listen to anyone. This is the most important thing, know that. The eleventh chapter on eliminating the obstacles of slander in entering the path. Guhya. The person who can practice this instruction.
