If one thinks like that, it is impossible for a non-existent 'I' to arise from existing things. If 'I' were to become an existing thing, then 'I' should have a shape, color, etc., that can be clearly seen with the eyes and truly touched with the hands, but that is not the case. If one wonders whether it arises from one's own body, then if one examines and analyzes from the tip of the hair on the head down to the tip of the toenails, one will not find any place that one can definitely say it arises from. Therefore, the so-called 'I' must first be traced back to a place where there is no source of origin. The intermediate dwelling, etc., is certain. If one thinks that there must be an intermediate dwelling place, then 'I' do not dwell in the realm of the five elements. If it were to dwell, then when the elements are broken down, one should experience pain inside, but that is not the case. Even if one examines one's own body, for the head, one only says 'head' and not 'I.' Similarly, for the scalp, one only says 'scalp' and not 'I.' For the bone, one only says 'bone' and not 'I.' Similarly, for the eye, one only says 'eye' and not 'I.' For the ear, one only says 'ear' and not 'I.' For the nose, one only says 'nose' and not 'I.' For the tongue, one only says 'tongue' and not 'I.' For the teeth, one only says 'teeth,' etc. For the brain, one only says 'brain.' For the flesh, one only says 'flesh.' For the blood, it is blood. For the serum, one only says 'serum.' For the veins, one only says 'veins.' For these, one only says their respective names, and not 'I.' Furthermore, for the hand, one only says 'hand' and not 'I.' For the shoulder blade, one only says 'shoulder blade,' etc. For the arm, one only says 'arm,' etc. For the forearm, one only says 'forearm.' For the fingers, one only says their respective names, and not 'I.' Similarly, for the vertebrae, one only says 'vertebrae' and not 'I.' For the ribs, one only says 'ribs.' For the chest, one only says 'chest,' etc. For the lungs, one only says 'lungs,' etc. For the heart, one only says 'heart,' etc. For the liver bed, one only says 'liver bed.' For the liver, one only says 'liver.' For the spleen, one only says 'spleen.' For the intestines, one only says 'intestines,' etc. For the kidneys, one only says 'kidneys,' etc. For the urine, one only says 'urine.' For the feces, one only says 'feces.' Similarly, for the foot, one only says 'foot.' For the thigh, one only says 'thigh,' etc. For the hip, one only says 'hip,' etc. For the calf, one only says 'calf,' etc. For the knee, one only says 'knee,' etc. For the toes,

For those, pointing with fingers, grasping the outer skin of those, That is, saying the skin. For the flesh in between, that is, saying the flesh. For the bones inside, that is, saying the bones. For the secret leg, that is, saying the leg, but not "I". For consciousness, also saying consciousness, but not "I". Therefore, it is certain that it is emptiness in the middle, without place and owner. Similarly, the final destination, etc., is like saying. If you think there must be a final destination, when the word "I" is separated from the source, although it can be determined that there is no final destination. If we assume it exists, then is the "I" that appears in the daytime and the "I" that appears in the dream one or two? If it is one, then the swelling caused by the stones and sticks hitting my body in yesterday's dream, and the wounds caused by the swords, today in the daytime, there should also be wounds on the body, but that is not the case. If you think it is different, then there are three hundred and sixty days in a year, three hundred and sixty nights, and seven hundred and twenty days and nights. Therefore, there should also be seven hundred and twenty bodies. If it turns into a dead body, then the four directions of east, south, west, and north and the eight intermediate directions should all be filled with the corpse, But that is not the case. If they have not died, but are alive, then my great army should also fill all places. If it exists, it should be clearly seen by the eyes, truly grasped by the hand, and should appear in the gate of the senses, but that is not the case. So, if you think it has gone to the side of nothing at all, then a non-existent "I" has no way to enter the realm of non-existence. If it exists, then "I" must be truly existent. But because this has been determined before and has not been found, it cannot be found now, therefore, it transcends the final destination and all masters. For this reason, the so-called "I", like seeing hair streaks in the sky due to eye disease, appears even though it does not exist. All these designations of names, like saying "rabbit's horn" and "sky lotus", there is not even the amount of a tiny dust that truly exists. The Kun Byed says: The root of samsara is I and mine, may the root of delusion be cut off without existence.
