Although one does not enter from the mother's womb, If you follow those, for example, water itself has it, but moisture must come from elsewhere, similarly, fire itself has it, but heat is sought from elsewhere, and wind itself is, But expecting coolness from elsewhere, it must be in this direction: recognizing that both samsara and nirvana are the nature of great emptiness and bliss, and naturally realizing and being certain, this is the compassion of equally enjoying samsara and nirvana. Apart from that, there is no other compassion bodhicitta. The key points of view and meditation, etc., are suppressed. Therefore, relying on the guru's oral instructions, Even if the state of the basic view is truly recognized, but one is not accustomed to it, and is content with just understanding it, and stops there. Again, as before, one clings to the affairs of samsara, distinguishing others as enemies and hating them, distinguishing oneself as relatives and clinging to them, etc., being controlled by the delusions of afflictions, one begins various sinful and unwholesome actions, and one's life is exhausted in suffering, because one has not gained confidence and stability in practice. All views and meditations are suppressed by delusion and the activities of samsara, which is because although one recognizes it, one is not accustomed to it. It is not like that, but without losing the posture of profound view, being certain of the equal enjoyment of samsara and nirvana, and the meditation Without losing confidence, like the ocean accompanied by its clear part, abiding in the state of manifest awareness. Between phenomena and dharmata, without losing the direction of seeing, adjusting the key points of body, speech, and mind, abandoning unwholesomeness like poison. Like this, in terms of conduct, the view is not mixed up, for example, no claws can suppress it, a lion with turquoise mane, just standing on the snowy mountain, all claws will be suppressed, and nothing can approach it. A yogi who possesses the three powers of profound view and meditation, perfected in the body, suppresses everything by transforming all appearances into freedom, and must not be confused by the path of effort. Explaining the three faults of practice: the appearances of practice, etc., are the view. The appearance of practice is that the mind and consciousness stream are different from before, and a soft and comfortable feeling of bliss arises, which is difficult to let go of.

If, by clinging to appearances, one gains stability, one will be reborn in the desire realm gods. The clarity of appearance in the form realm is different from before, becoming very bright, and subtle manifest awareness arises. If one clings to this, one will be reborn in the form realm. The emptiness appearance of the four formless realms is when non-conceptualization turns inward, producing a vague feeling, clinging to unknowing and unawareness, like a subtle dormant state of deep sleep. In terms of view, one is unfamiliar with emptiness, merely deciding that the nature of mind is emptiness, that there is no substance, and then single-pointedly abiding in emptiness. This is the peak of existence and the view of being reborn as an unconscious god. Knowing these, one should not be influenced by them. Whatever arises, one should know that all are unreal appearances, thereby grasping the fundamental principle of awareness. Furthermore, external causes, etc., are changes. Furthermore, external causes include the magic of gods and demons, droughts, and omens. In the realm of the senses, various kinds of magic appear. The forms of various kinds of malevolent gods and demons appear. In dreams, one sees unpleasant forms. Due to being startled awake, various kinds of physical and mental discomfort arise. Due to food, housing, and fright, illnesses arise. Merely touching earth, stones, trees, weapons, etc., makes it difficult to heal. Sores, leprosy, eye diseases, etc., suddenly appear. Internal causes include physical illnesses, the four hundred and four types of diseases arising from imbalances of wind, bile, phlegm, etc. All the mind's strength and abilities seem to be taken away by the illness, producing unspeakable suffering and various kinds of pain. Secret causes include the mind's happiness and suffering, which are the mind's unease in its own objects, such as attachment, hatred, clinging, unbearable suffering, joy, sadness, clinging to the experience of emptiness and clarity, being blank and dazed, appearances and mind being mutually obstructed, all sights and feelings appearing as harmful, disturbing others due to anger and harmful intent, and later regretting it. Arrogance arises, thinking that there is no yogi or meditator like oneself in the world, and thinking that everything one does is good and beautiful.
