The key to drawing awareness into space through the earth element, and the key to the inseparability of space and awareness by lifting the cheeks with the palms of both hands. This is the key to taking the sitting posture of the Sambhogakaya as a path, and explaining how to obtain its qualities. Furthermore, the third posture, the Dharmakaya lion posture, is as follows: placing both feet forward on the ground with the soles facing each other is the key to the warmth of balancing the elements; placing both hands in the center with the fingers curled into a vajra fist and sitting with them placed on the ground in front is the key to reversing the scattering karma winds; relaxing the upper body and sitting with the spine straight is the key to the rapid arising of experiences; placing the head naturally on the neck is the key to the inseparability of space and awareness. This is the key to taking the Dharmakaya sitting posture as a path, and it is a special means for the manifest appearance of the wisdom of the clear light of Dharmata, so it should be known as the supreme key. In any of these three sitting postures, the parts of the body should be balanced and relaxed, and the key to space and bindu should be stable, so do whatever is comfortable. However, it is not necessarily the case that all three sitting postures must be performed at the same time. Furthermore, regarding the way of looking without moving the eyes and not separating from it: the first sitting posture is the upright sitting posture, and the way of looking is to lower the eyes slightly to the tip of the nose. Because the Nirmanakaya has the eye of wisdom, it opens the vision of wisdom. The second, the Sambhogakaya, has the eye of wisdom, so the way of looking is to look to the right or left, or to look obliquely, and in order to clarify the natural state of wisdom, to alternately look straight at the expanse of the sky in front of oneself, etc. One should remain in whatever state of space appears. The third, the Dharmakaya, has the eye of Dharmata, so the way of looking is to turn the eyeballs upwards, and when looking at the sky above the crown of the head, one opens the vision of the appearance of wisdom. The difference in how to obtain the qualities of these three sitting postures and ways of looking is stated in 'Thorough Liberation': The Dharmakaya's sitting posture is like a lion, free from all fear of delusion, one will be able to see with the vajra eye. Sambhogakaya complete.
