In order to directly perceive the nature of clear light with the eye of a crow, first, if you do not bind yourself with the constraints of the posture, then the elements of space, bindu, and wind will be scattered throughout all the channels of the body and will not manifest. For example, if a snake is not coiled, its feet and hands will not appear, but once it is coiled, they will appear. Therefore, the posture is extremely important. Among them, the first is the posture of the Dharmakaya, like a lion: the body is in the posture of a lion, with the soles of the two feet together and placed in front, the hands clenched in vajra fists and pressed to the ground, looking upwards at the sky. This is the posture and way of seeing of the Dharmakaya. Among them, joining the soles of the feet together stops the winds of affliction in their place, pressing the vajra fists to the ground cuts off the path of affliction, and looking upwards has the purpose of opening the eye of wisdom. The posture of the Sambhogakaya is like an elephant lying down: the knees and elbows are pressed to the ground, the two palms support the cheeks, the soles of the feet face outwards, and the way of seeing is to look straight ahead. Among them, turning the soles of the feet outwards allows the winds to flow smoothly, joining the knees and chest balances heat and cold, pressing the four limbs to the ground prevents impure doors, supporting the cheeks with the palms balances bliss and emptiness, and keeping the gaze straight ahead has the purpose of making wisdom naturally manifest. The posture of the Nirmanakaya is like a hermit squatting: the soles of the feet are placed on the ground, the knees and chest are joined together, the hands cover the knees, the fingers are interlaced like a chessboard, the spine is straight, and the way of seeing is downwards. Tibetan Rare Book. In order to subdue the power of the winds, the soles of the feet suppress the mandala of wind. Joining the thighs and abdomen, the two mandalas of fire, kills the impure winds of samsara in their place. Joining the knees, the mandala of water, and the palms, the mandala of fire, balances heat and cold. Also, joining the palms and armpits, the two wheels of fire, eliminates cold diseases. Looking downwards is only to open the all-seeing eye, although it is not said, but even looking straight ahead opens the all-knowing eye, and even looking upwards or downwards opens the all-pervading eye, there is no difference. Fifth, the way to look at clear light with three key points, the key point of the appearing door is

Do not look with eyes wide open, but rather with eyes half-closed. If you look with eyes wide open, the sharpness of the eyes will decrease, and the appearance of bright light will not manifest. Therefore, do not look with bare eyes. The key to the breath is to practice slow inhalation and exhalation of air from the gap where the lips barely touch, and to let it dissipate slightly outward. The key to the place of practice is: First, for about a month, during the day, look in a place where the sun does not reach a cubit away, and at night, look at the moon in the same way to eliminate the harm of heat increasing in the eyes during the day and to gain stability in the light. At night, when looking at a candle with eyes half-closed, at first you can only see something like a pile of red and yellow grass bundles, and then the appearance of space visions and moving and flickering bindus will appear. Finally, the space vision will appear beautiful, clear, bright, and vast. The sixth, the way to establish the foundation with the three immovables is: When practicing in this way, the body should be immovable, sitting like a corpse in a cemetery; speech should be immovable, abandoning all speech and recitation, and not exhaling air from the nostrils, but slowly exhaling from the mouth without affirmation or negation, which relies on the key of being free from the effort of grasping the channels and winds; the mind should be uncorrected, abiding immovably in the state of manifesting the expansion of wisdom into light. In general, wherever you stay, keep your body straight, so that all the channels and winds will be straight, and the mind will become clear and empty, thereby maintaining a stable state. The seventh, the way to practice is: In general, in other tantric commentaries, there are not only three postures, but also various other postures. In particular, before the appearance of the five-colored space vision, the ways of looking are different. Although the texts say that one should meditate by controlling the space and bindus within a boundary, like imprisoning a flock of sheep in a pen. However, such special provisions are not mentioned in the guiding texts here. In general, no matter how you practice, you should abide in a state where the light is clear and easy to manifest. It is not necessary to have all three postures; choose the posture that is comfortable, beneficial, and appropriate. It is said that various comfortable and uncomfortable experiences will occur during the progress of practice, and these are the characteristics of this practice. If you like detailed explanations, you can alternately adopt different postures.
