Therefore, it is necessary to practice starting from the mother. Visualize the mother being born in a hell-like evil realm, suffering from the lack of all temporary and ultimate happiness. On the one hand, think in your mind of the splendor of a pure land like Sukhavati (བདེ་བ་ཅན།). Do not specifically think about suffering, but mainly focus on the state of not having happiness. Focus on the fact that that pure land does not have such a place of splendor, does not have such bodily qualities, does not have such clothes, does not have such happiness, and so on. Thinking that this situation is not good, how wonderful it would be to have that happiness! May I have it! I must have it! You must repeatedly get used to it from the bottom of your heart. The order of meditation is also as mentioned above, starting from one sentient being and extending to the extent of covering all directions. The sign of the degree of arising in the mindstream is that supreme love that pervades all beings arises, even more intensely than a mother's love for her only child. As it is said. After that, abide in the state of equality of all. This is impartial great love. The union of love and emptiness is its sign. As it is said, abide in emptiness. After that, meditate on compassion. After love pervades beings, just as one cannot bear the suffering of parents, generate compassion by thinking about the suffering of beings. That is, my kind parents, for my sake, have committed sinful deeds, and therefore suffer from and are tormented by the suffering of heat and cold, hunger and thirst, killing and cutting, and are drowning in the torrent of birth, old age, sickness, and death, and are tormented by all kinds of suffering. They have no desire to be liberated from those sufferings, and they have no virtuous friend who can guide them on the right path. Without a virtuous friend, wandering in endless samsara, it is truly pitiful. Seeing these, can you bear to abandon them? Therefore, think from the depths of your heart and marrow: may all the suffering of beings be removed in an instant by my body, possessions, and the merit accumulated in the three times. As it is said. That is, visualizing my mother as actually being born in hell or anywhere else, for the sake of her son, this mother has committed many sinful and unwholesome deeds, so now she is experiencing and suffering from such sufferings as heat and cold, hunger and thirst, and is drowning in the torrent of birth, old age, sickness, and death.

I am drowning in the depths of a great and turbulent commotion. I am tormented by various sufferings, experiencing the pitiful states of suffering, and taking these to heart. I don't even have the mind to seek peace and tranquility, desiring to be liberated from these. Furthermore, having separated from virtuous friends, I must still wander in endless samsara, which is truly pitiable. Knowing that these things are as they are, how can I bear to abandon them? Thinking this, I am tormented by suffering.

It is the middle that pervades everything. The standard of arising in the continuum, as a sign, there is no jealousy and joy arises. As it is said, towards the happiness of others, there is not the slightest jealousy, but joy arises from the depths of the heart. After that, the non-referential samadhi itself is joy, peace and tranquility are naturally accomplished in body, speech and mind. Thus, in the state of non-referential emptiness, one-pointed samadhi arises, and by abiding in equanimity, the happiness of pacifying coarse afflictions such as jealousy in one's own body and mind is naturally accomplished, or it arises without much effort. Thus, the scholar Yeshe Nyingpo (智藏, Wisdom Essence). Equanimity is like the earth, well-spread, the flowers of love are blooming, adorned with the shade of compassion, and the pure water of joy is without turbidity. Thus, equanimity is like the earth, the foundation of all, from which love blooms like flowers, compassion is connected like shade, and the pure water of joy is irrigated without the turbidity of evil motives, so it will not decline. As it is said. Thus, through repeated practice of the four immeasurables, the excellent pure intention also arises, and thus the mind of enlightenment matures in the continuum. Thus, the way to train the mind in the four immeasurables, although it is well known that the mind of enlightenment arises through the four immeasurables, but because I have not seen such a detailed explanation, I have quoted the essential important parts of rest. The oral transmission of the prince of the degenerate age, the great bodhisattva Jikme Chokyi Wangpo. It is the one I rely on The essential points of the oral instructions personally obtained from the venerable and kind Zhichen Tulku Rinpoche are compiled and written. Relying on the guru's oral nectar essence, completely poured into my wisdom vase, here for the benefit of sentient beings, as a feast of joy for benefiting others. This is also an intermediate verse. Third, generating the mind of enlightenment through the method of exchanging self and others. From the biography of Sudhana in the Avatamsaka Sutra, transforming the suffering of sentient beings into oneself, transforming oneself into the body that all sentient beings rely on for survival. As said by those skilled in teaching, in this way, the positions of cherishing self and others are exchanged, which means cherishing others more than oneself.
