Te. From the Compendium, it says: "Whoever wishes to definitely arise in this Buddha Vehicle, should have equanimity towards all beings, the perception of parents, a mind of benefit, and a heart of love, and tame all beings with them." As it is said. "In this Buddha Vehicle," etc., refers to generating the mind of enlightenment; "equanimity towards all beings" etc., refers to the method of cultivating equanimity by first practicing impartiality. "The perception of parents" etc., refers to knowing them as parents, remembering their kindness, and repaying their kindness. It is divided into three ways of generating this perception, and thus it will become so. "A mind of benefit" etc., refers to compassion; "a heart of love" etc., refers to loving-kindness; "tame all beings with them" etc., refers to taming, which means actually entering, so it is the intention to actually take on the burden of benefiting others. Similarly, in the Intermediate Mother (Yum Barma), it also says: "One should focus on beings with a mind of equanimity," and "One should focus on all beings with a mind of loving-kindness," and "One should focus on all beings with a mind of benefiting them," and "One should generate the perception of a mother in the presence of all beings." So it is said. The ways of doing so are: generating the mind of seeking the benefit of others, and generating the mind of seeking enlightenment. First, the first one. First, it is necessary to establish the basis for seeking the benefit of others, because, for example, just as it is uncomfortable to sleep on uneven ground, if one does not restrain the mind of attachment and aversion towards all beings, one cannot generate the recognition of mothers, etc. Therefore, one should first cultivate equanimity with a mind of impartiality. First, one should clearly visualize in front of oneself a neutral being who is neither one's enemy nor one's friend, and then allow thoughts of attachment and aversion to arise towards them. If attachment is stronger, one should think: "This person has been my enemy in many lifetimes and has caused immeasurable harm, so there is no reason to be attached." If aversion is stronger, one should think: "This person has been my friend in many lifetimes and has given me great help, so there is no reason to be averse." Thinking in this way, one should restrain thoughts of attachment and aversion and cultivate equanimity. Then, one should visualize a friend and allow attachment to arise. Although this person seems to be helping me now, in previous lives they were my enemy and caused harm, and just hearing their name could cause unbearable fear, and this has happened countless times. And it will not change in the future either.

In short, putting aside all sins, sufferings, and bad words, for those foods, clothes, and possessions obtained through effort, things that one is reluctant to use oneself, giving food and drink in times of hunger and thirst, giving clothes in times of cold, and giving possessions in times of poverty, will ultimately become very kind and heavy with gratitude. In short, contemplate the ways to achieve benefit and happiness and eliminate harm and suffering with one's own knowledge and ability. Like this, not only in this life, but also in countless times of being a mother, contemplate that this is very kind and gracious. Then, shift the attention to the father and others, and use the same examples to contemplate that the father has also lovingly raised you in this way in countless lifetimes. The way to repay kindness is: clearly visualize your own mother, this very loving old mother is disturbed by the demons of afflictions, not to mention the eyes to see the path to higher realms and definite goodness, and there is no guidance from a spiritual friend who leads to heaven and liberation. Every moment she tries to cover up the faults of evil deeds. In general, she wanders in samsara, especially on the edge of the precipice of evil destinies, and roams in the prison of the three sufferings, if she does not rely on me, her son, who else can she rely on? If I do not bear the burden of doing things for her, who will bear it? Therefore, in any case, I must do things for her. Moreover, even helping her with food, drink, possessions, etc., becomes a part of accumulating merit. However, this person has also attained the status of Brahma and Chakravartin, etc., and no matter how much contaminated wealth was enjoyed, stability was not obtained, but it turned into such a situation. The more contaminated happiness is enjoyed, the more easily happiness becomes the root of suffering, just like putting salt on a wound, so focusing on the happiness of samsara is not a big deal, but to settle her in the state of liberation and omniscient wisdom, one must think firmly in one's heart. Then, think of the father and others in the same way in order. Then, when truly generating the mind of altruistic intention to attain Buddhahood, there are three: first is practicing loving-kindness: Clearly visualize your own mother. If the suffering of poverty, etc., is manifest, also think of these. If there are none of these, my mother is of the nature of changing suffering and pervasive suffering of conditioned existence, and temporarily suffers from various kinds of suffering,
