Virtuous and non-virtuous actions will definitely experience their consequences, so they are called actions with definite results. Other actions with less power than these are uncertain actions. Furthermore, definite results are those where both the action and accumulation are complete. Actions done but not accumulated are not definite results, so the difference between action and accumulation is that actions done in dreams, unknowingly, unwillingly, or regretfully, etc. Preparation and conclusion are complete, but the main action is incomplete, for example, wanting to kill someone, thinking it would be great if one could kill, like cultivating joy in this way. Both are complete, but if the main action of killing is not done, then it is an action that is accumulated but not done. If preparation, main action, and conclusion are all complete, then the action and accumulation are complete. If one does not want to, but has to kill unwillingly, then it is an action done but not accumulated. Even if harmful thoughts arise, they are immediately destroyed by antidotes. Or, without the intention to kill, and without even starting preparations for killing, one accidentally steps on and kills an insect while walking. The wise ones say that such actions, where both action and accumulation are incomplete. In short, doing something happily means that both action and accumulation are complete. Doing something unhappily means that the action is done but not accumulated. Wanting to do something but not having the opportunity means that it is accumulated but not done. Therefore, one should not even think about any non-virtuous aspects from the beginning. Even if one thinks and accumulates, one should avoid doing it with body, speech, etc. If the action and accumulation are complete, but one immediately feels regret and confesses and vows not to repeat it, it will become unaccumulated, and therefore the result will not be definite. So, one should learn in this way. Furthermore, dreaming of killing someone, and upon waking up, thinking it was great, nourishing it with attachment and cultivating joy, it will become complete with action and accumulation. This is the view of the Sutras and Shastras. The meaning of accumulation is to think of doing it from the perspective of motivation, and the meaning of action is to start doing it from the perspective of preparation. In short, actions where both action and accumulation are complete, and actions that are accumulated but not done, both have definite results. Actions done but not accumulated have uncertain results. Furthermore, actions that will definitely ripen in the next life are like the five heinous crimes. The five heinous crimes are: killing one's father, killing one's mother, killing an Arhat, causing disunity in the Sangha, and drawing blood from the body of a Buddha with malicious intent.

It is said in the former Treasury of Knowledge: Other things are easy, but the schism of the Sangha refers to four or more monks dividing into two factions and splitting each other. That is, one does not recognize the Buddha as a teacher, but divides into factions, and one's own rules of discipline that are not in accordance with the Dharma are imposed on others, or those who do not follow oneself are divided into the faction of the teacher. Previously, Devadatta wanted to compete with the teacher (Buddha) when the teacher was alive. The sutras say: Milk, meat, salt, clothes, and living in monasteries. Like this, he made vows, not eating milk, meat, and salt, wearing unsewn clothes, and living in temples in the city, establishing five kinds of asceticism or five kinds of precepts, and forcing Kokalika, Khandadra Putra, Samudradatta, etc. to abide by these factions, and other monks abide by the teacher's faction, like this dividing into two factions. In the teachings of our teacher, the only one who committed the sin of schism in the Sangha is Devadatta. After such a split, one will experience suffering in hell during the intermediate kalpa, and other sins of immediate retribution will generally lead to hell, but it is not certain that one will only fall into hell. Therefore, it is also a very serious offense for the Sangha to split each other internally now, but it is not a Sangha split. The commentary on the glorious Guhyasamaja, the Lamp Illuminating, says: On the basis of the three killings, adding the abandonment of the holy Dharma and the destruction of Buddha images, these five are sins of immediate retribution. Abandoning the holy Dharma means saying that the Buddha's teachings are not the holy Dharma, etc. The King of Samadhi says: Whoever in this Jambudvipa destroys all the stupas, whoever abandons the sutras, that sin is very great. Whoever kills as many Arhats as there are sands in the Ganges, whoever abandons the sutras, that sin is very great. And the Uttaratantra Shastra says: Whoever repeatedly associates with evil friends, harbors malice towards the Buddha, kills parents and Arhats, or does what should not be done, and splits the Sangha. If you seriously think about these dharmata, you can quickly be liberated from them. Whose mind
