If one practices in this way, it is the practice of the supreme Prajñāpāramitā. If it is established as truly existent, it does not depend on causes and conditions, and it becomes a permanent nature without before or after, without change. If it is like that, then the nature of all phenomena is completely pure, and no agent is visible, thereby destroying the clinging to substantiality. If some sentient beings take sandalwood thorns and apply them with great reverence to a Bodhisattva, and another throws a firebrand at his head, both of them should generate an equal mind. Thus, for the act of benefiting and harming, one should know the fault that benefiting and harming are not established by nature, so one should refute the fault of benefiting and harming. A Bodhisattva who practices in this way should not have the prideful thought, "I have received the prediction of the ten powers and have touched enlightenment," nor should he have the fear of enlightenment, "There is nothing here." Thus, practicing is the wisdom practice of the Sugata. Thus, one should not desire the prediction of the enlightenment of the Buddha, who is the nature of the ten powers, nor should one fear or doubt what has not been predicted. Thus, the false nest of hope and doubt is destroyed. This is that all phenomena are shown to be of one aspect. That which is not form, not feeling, not perception, not visible, not consciousness, not intention visible, all phenomena are known as the aspect of unborn emptiness, this is the practice of the supreme Prajñāpāramitā. As the nature of Prajñāpāramitā is emptiness, all phenomena are known to be the same as that nature, all phenomena are known to be emptiness, without nature, thus practicing is the wisdom practice of the Sugata. Thus, the nature of form and so on is invisible, all phenomena are known as the aspect of unborn emptiness, emptiness and having no nature are one, form and so on are invisible, feeling and so on are also invisible, perception is invisible, intention is invisible, that which consciousness and mind are invisible, this is seeing the Dharma, as the Tathagata said. As it is said that sentient beings see the sky, one should contemplate how the sky is visible. Thus, seeing the Dharma is also what the Tathagata said. Whoever sees in this way, he also sees all phenomena. Thus, how one sees its nature, one sees all phenomena.

It is said that by seeing the nature of all phenomena, all dharmas are as vast as the sky. Just as a king does not go to the city, and his entourage does not go to the countryside, but gathers all the people from his own territory, similarly, the dharmata of a Bodhisattva does not go anywhere, yet it gathers all the qualities of the Buddha-lands. Therefore, through the means of analogy, we should understand that the dharmata does not come or go, yet it spontaneously accomplishes all qualities. Furthermore, although Dzogchen is the pinnacle of views and the field of practice for those with sharp faculties, it is also the pith instruction for directly revealing the nature of reality. Therefore, whether wise, foolish, or of middling intelligence, it is easy to generate realization in the mind-stream. The Omniscient Fifth Dalai Lama said: The Madhyamaka tradition of Nagarjuna is the pinnacle of views, and it is difficult for those who are not learned in scriptures to realize. What is called "Mahamudra" nowadays is merely abiding in the mind, and is not the actual view of Mahamudra. Only the wisdom arising from empowerment and the two stages is considered by the wise to be authentic Mahamudra. Padmasambhava, Vimalamitra, Vairochana, and others, the definitive meaning of Dzogchen that comes from the teachings and treasures, whether practiced by the wise, foolish, or of middling intelligence, can achieve great results with minimal effort, a miraculous and secret key point. For example, the elderly Mipham Gonpo (Vimalamitra), was led onto the path of enlightenment in this lifetime by Vairochana, and there are countless amazing stories of simultaneous realization and liberation in both China and Tibet. Furthermore, the Tantra of Total Transcendence also states: "Through the essential heart essence, there is no distinction between sharp and dull faculties." As it is said in the scriptures, in order to clarify the essential meaning of the heart essence of Dzogchen, there is no distinction between sharp and dull faculties. What is called Mahamudra nowadays is merely abiding in the mind, and is not the actual Mahamudra, but the wisdom arising from empowerment and the generation and completion stages, which is generally considered to be a satire directed at the Kagyu school. However, this is actually the teaching that the master compassionately bestows upon those who understand nothing, but merely place their minds haphazardly, or merely count the arising and passing of thoughts, and consider themselves to be practicing Mahamudra. Whether or not it is related to the practice of channels and energies, the co-emergent union, Gau, and other Mahamudras of the Kagyu tradition are extremely profound. Machig Labdrön.
