Now, contemplate manifesting countless bodies and prostrating. With respectful body, join palms at the three places (forehead, throat, heart); with respectful speech, utter melodious praises; With respectful mind, recall the qualities, and prostrate with single-minded devotion. As stated in the Great Liberation Sutra: "Like a lotus just beginning to bloom, join the hands at the crown of the head, With immeasurable clouds of bodies, prostrate to the Buddhas of the ten directions." And as said by Machig (female accomplished one): "I prostrate to the gurus who reveal self-knowing wisdom, I prostrate to the yidam deities who निश्चित(藏文:ངེས་པར།,梵文天城体:निश्चित,梵文罗马拟音:niścita,汉语字面意思: निश्चित)bestow accomplishments. I prostrate to the Buddhas who possess the complete qualities of abandonment and realization. I prostrate to the sacred Dharma, which is peaceful and free from desire. I prostrate to the Sangha, to whom offerings are of great benefit. I prostrate to the Dharma protectors who निश्चित(藏文:ངེས་པར།,梵文天城体:निश्चित,梵文罗马拟音:niścita,汉语字面意思: निश्चित)remove obstacles, Until I attain enlightenment, I pray to you all. I take refuge in you all." Thus it is said. From the heart of the main deity of the field of merit, rays of light emanate and strike the retinue deities. From the hearts of the retinue deities, rays of light emanate, gathering the power of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, returning and merging into the heart of the main deity, from which emanate white, red, and blue rays of light, or like a stream of white milk, entering the crown of the head of oneself and all beings gathered in the retinue, thereby purifying the accumulated sins, obscurations, habits, causes, and effects from beginningless time, like washing away bodily dirt, from the head down to the toenails, etc., expelling black, murky filth from the lower gate, entering the mouth of the Lord of Death's demon or the Yama of karma, or the owner of karmic debts, entering the mouth of one with a black face, a terrifying form, and an extremely wrathful appearance, satisfying them, thereby repaying karmic debts, and contemplating that one's own and others' bodies are as clear as crystal balls. With the purification of sins and obscurations, generate sincere faith in others, and in this state, contemplate prostrating single-mindedly, free from distraction. This is also a key instruction from the words of Machig. The benefit of prostrating in this way is: the extent that one's body covers, down to touching the great golden earth.

The happiness and prosperity of a wheel-turning monarch equal to the number of atoms, and being born among gods and humans, are taught in the scriptures, and so on, the benefits are limitless. It is said that this is an antidote to pride. When making offerings, one needs to have three special qualities: pure field, pure intention, and pure object. Pure field is the field of merit.

Offering incense and other items according to one's means is true offering. It requires three qualities: pure substance, clean objects, and beautiful arrangement, according to the oral tradition of the lamas. Pure substance means not stolen or plundered from others, not obtained through deceitful means, or by falsely claiming to be a lama. Such offerings are impure. Clean objects mean that even if the substance is pure, the offering itself should not be inferior. For example, among food offerings, butter should not be old, rotten, or contaminated, but the best and most pleasing should be offered. However, it is said that offering earth and stones is permissible if one has no wealth and the motivation is pure, because the Three Jewels are a field of merit. For example, some children offered dust to the Buddha and became King Ashoka and his ministers. Therefore, offering the best of what one has without stinginess is important for completing the accumulations. Beautiful arrangement means that the offerings should be arranged well. For example, water offerings should be free from being tilted, overfilled, wobbly, touching, or spilling. Tilting means the vessel is not full, which leads to one's mind not being filled with qualities in future lives. Overfilling means it is too full, as if overflowing, which leads to unstable qualities. Avoid these two faults and fill the offering cup to the brim. Wobbling means the vessels are arranged wobbling, which leads to a dishonest mind. Touching means the vessels touch without space, which leads to meeting evil friends. Too much space leads to not meeting virtuous friends, so the space should be moderate, about the size of a seed. Spilling means spilling on the altar, which leads to impure morality. Arranging without these faults leads to the opposite results, such as one's mind being filled with qualities. These are oral traditions.
