The river was swollen, and the waves were raging. In the middle of the river, I saw a huge, towering rock. Thinking of going up to see it, I saw a path of rainbow light, like a spread-out silk cloth. Walking along this path, it felt like walking on land. When I sat down on the rock, a man named Awo Tarchin and a man named Sogpo Serre came riding horses from the riverside. Awo cursed and grumbled. Serre said, 'Shall we two jump into the river and see if we can make it?' Tarchin said, 'I don't have the ability to give up my life. This must have been led away by demons and ghosts.' Looking at this situation, he will definitely be drowned sooner or later. He said, 'I will go and deliver a message to his family.' Having said this, he left. I immediately crossed the river and reached the opposite shore like a water bird, and returned home. The previous two men said, 'This must have been possessed by demons and ghosts, so it is important to perform a great ritual.' They invited shamans and performed divination. After that, when I was nine years old, on the evening of the seventh day of the first winter month of the Rabbit year, a dakini wearing a blue dress said, 'Child, next year you must go from here to the northwest direction.'
