I pray to the supreme, independent one! From the age of fifty-eight to sixty-eight, Like the impermanent nature of conditioned phenomena, Using symbolic methods to display illusion, I pray to the supreme illusory yogi! With various methods and actions to tame, Even the difficult-to-tame degenerate beings of the degenerate age, Those who are connected by karma, aspiration, and dependent origination, I pray to tame the remaining disciples! From high to low, all sentient beings and things, With the armor of bodhicitta, disregarding hardship, Day and night, without separation, raining down the Dharma, I pray to the protector of unbiased teachings and beings! Upon hearing or remembering the deeds of the vidyadhara lama who embodies the three lineages, Not just with words, but with heartfelt faith and devotion, May the blessings of the mind lineage be transferred to my being! From beginningless samsara until now, Without end, cutting off the stream of karma, May I swiftly attain the supreme state of perfect enlightenment in this life! May I and all sentient beings connected to me, Without effort, awaken to our own nature, Simultaneously attain the dharmakaya of light, And instantly realize Buddhahood! This "Prayer of Liberation - A Shower of Blessings" was spoken spontaneously by the vidyadhara Dudjom Dorje at the repeated request of his disciple, the yogi Ngawang Trinle.
