This turmoil of weapons in a chaotic time is the trick of black demons, ogres, corpses, and Yaksha Rakshasis. In order to gather flesh, blood, life, and breath, due to the evil turmoil of the times, it descends many times. Do you understand that? Do you, person, understand this sign? The mother has departed to the invisible realm of Dharma. Those practitioners who possess vows, if they wish for lasting happiness, should abandon worldly affairs and practice in the uncertain, solitary mountains. There, there are no disasters or faults. In the great umbrella of clear, pervasive, and blazing light, the mothers and dakinis urge the lineage, and the face of the wisdom deity naturally appears. From the pure realm of the Khechara, having traveled around the four directions, I have also arrived. In the great bliss inseparable from me, I go to the place of spontaneously accomplished splendor. Having said this, she stroked my head and vanished without a trace. Thus, as it was said, for the sake of the faithful disciples, I undertook the labor of recording my own history, and therefore temporarily delayed other activities such as giving teachings. The secret-holding Dakini, The chief consort Tsogyal (མཚོ་རྒྱལ་མས), With offerings of fresh flowers of praise, For the great benefit of beings and the teachings in future kalpas, It is a prophecy with vajra words that will surely come to pass. Subduing enemies, protecting friends, and unwholesome actions, going, staying, actions, efforts, and deeds that have not been prophesied, earnestly undertaking the labor of writing, this biography is not like fabricated ordinary works. Taken care of by countless superior deities, The great expanse of realization born from meditation bursts forth with power, The nectar of the profound treasure teachings is spread without bias, The skillful methods of various activities are shown and declared. Those who have not become slaves to the minds of others, Even if they have only a little impartiality, If they have even a little wisdom to discern biographies, How could they not see it as a place worthy of praise and wonder? Ultimately, the adornment of the qualities of the compassionate emanation of the original Buddha, Is also of the same taste as the three secrets of all the Buddhas, All that has become is only the realm of your vision. Therefore, these things that have already been recorded, Like a drop of water from a great ocean, Only a small part, in accordance with the minds of the common beings to be tamed of the present.
