Don't desire to gain status. Om, from the realm of Dharma nature, go, go, soar there. Saying this, it flew away. Again, on the tenth day of the middle winter of that year, when abiding in the realm of clear light Tögal (direct crossing), a small bird landed in front of me and said this: Hey, hey! In the midst of the northern plains oasis, although not all beings can dwell, it is the dwelling place of the white-lipped goose. Can you see the flourishing of mother and child? In the midst of this purplish-red mountain, although not all beings can dwell, it is the dwelling place of the wild yak cow. Can you see a hundred mothers and a hundred children? On the high and steep rocky mountain, although not all beings can dwell, it is the dwelling place of the king of birds, the vulture. Can you see the white offspring? In the uncertain solitary mountains, although not all people can dwell, it is the dwelling place of the supreme renunciate. Can you see the gathering of retinue and disciples? Although there are many stars in the sky, the sun and moon are rare. Although there are many flowers on the earth, the Udumbara flower is rare. Although there are many trees and forests, the wish-fulfilling tree is rare. Although there are many groups of predators, the white lioness is rare. Obtaining a human body, although there are many, those with meaning are rare. Although there are many who call themselves lamas, true lamas are rare. Although there are many monastic appearances, those with discipline are rare. Although there are many who are eloquent in speech, those who apply it to their minds are rare. Although there are many who claim to be meditators, those who realize emptiness are rare. Although there are many who claim to be accomplished ones, true accomplished ones are rare. Although there are many who claim to be treasure revealers, genuine treasure revealers are rare. Whether one is a treasure revealer, I do not know. Listen, fortunate ones with karmic connections and good fortune, noble beings. The clear light of self-appearing purity, the profound path of great transference (phowa), practice with one-pointedness, and liberation will surely be attained in this life. Although there are many disciples, those who can endure the solitary mountains are rare. Although there are many who claim to be Dharma lords, those who can explain and propagate the three sections of essential instructions are rare. Although there are many who listen to and seek the Dharma, those who can practice are rare. Keep this in mind. Establish a firm foundation within yourself, and benefiting others will naturally arise. The realm of the all-pervading Samantabhadra is your own ground. Did you understand? Did you realize? Friend. The vast northern plains T11619 - 158 Ah! Did you realize? Did you realize the vast expanse of the sky? The little bird is about to depart. The vast Dharmadhatu!

In the valley, as happy as a squirrel mother and child enjoying the treasures of the sky, it flew away after saying that. Then, when I reached the age of thirty-four, on the twenty-fifth day of the first month of the Mongolian calendar, relying on the practice of the wrathful black dakini, when the tsok wheel was being performed, a web of rainbow light intertwined, feathers of the Garuda fell, and from the invisible emptiness came the extremely pleasant sound of flutes and lutes, which everyone gathered there heard. That night, four dakinis, white, yellow, red, and green, on a silk palanquin, carried an elderly yogi, whose hair was long and white, wearing a purplish-red silk robe adorned with cloud and dragon patterns, with a beautiful and enchanting knife at his waist, decorated with silver-white earrings, extremely glorious and blazing with light. A dark blue dakini held him, and as soon as he came before me, that yogi said: "You, who possess the power of practice from many lifetimes, who open the door to profound treasures, and who can lead all connected beings to liberation, I ask you for my body. Previously, in the Wood Mouse year, the place where my son was perfectly born, the dakini Yeshe Tsogyal, in a white crystal stupa, transformed and entrusted it to you, so that the lineage of accomplished ones would not be stained by the defilements of the womb, I, as I had instructed before, will be born as your son. I will also be born as your son, in order to tame and gather the remaining beings to be guided, I must come to this human realm, therefore you have come here today. I am the Dharma King Trisong Detsen. Possessing wisdom, compassion, Yeshe Dorje, cut off doubt, supreme noble one! Ultimately, father and son are inseparable, and you will attain the glory of the Great Bliss Pure Land." Having said this, he took out a golden vajra from his bosom and held a hat in his hand, both of which he placed under the hem of my robe. I said, "Don't do that, don't put your implements and hat under my clothes." He said, "We two are one, not two, there is no problem," and then the vision of dissolving into me arose. Then, on the night of the fifth day of the fourth month of the Mongolian calendar, I arrived in a vast city. Auspicious!
