Boasting of greatness, arrogance, proclaiming clairvoyance, and abandoning meaningless evil deeds are crucial practices. 4. No matter how much you listen, do not lose yourself, even if your status is high, maintain humility, and even if you enjoy happiness, do not become distracted. Never failing or falling is the key practice. 5. Where the ability to be unhindered lies is unknown. Do not flatter those in high positions, and do not hate those in low positions. Do not easily judge the good or bad of people you do not know. Not speaking words of praise or criticism is the key practice. 6. Always staying in a secluded place, cultivating diligence in practice, and strictly guarding vows. Having devotion to the Guru, keeping vows, and being consistent in public and private. Abandoning busyness and laziness is the key practice. 7. If you make views into mere slogans, you will leak secrets. If you make practice into a means of showing off, you will lose merit. If you indulge in evil deeds, you will invite disaster. Abandoning such actions is the key practice. 8. Even if you proclaim lofty views, show them through actions. Even if you boast of profound practice, it will be revealed by circumstances. Even if you say actions are spontaneous, prove them with results. Do not shout loudly is the key practice. 9. If you mistake understanding for realization, you are mistaken. If you mistake the appearance of the path for liberation, you will become confused.
