The basis of black and white karma is happiness and suffering, That taking and abandoning without error is the supreme essence. In the city of the six realms of beings, There is no happiness even for a moment. Now quickly seek the means of liberation, The root of all dharmas is self-awareness. There, the essence of meditation is emptiness. Outer container and inner content, sentient beings, And the five objects of desire in between, all dharmas, The basis of name and object is separate. Like illusion and dream, Look at the great openness without object. Knowing the way, samsara and nirvana are emptiness, Understanding the meaning is the key to seeing. The basis is primordial purity, the realm of pure space. In the great wisdom that is manifest in nature, do not alter it with mind and intellect. Leave the work and rest completely. That meditation is self-arising and self-liberating. Now this remaining life, Abandon the work of farming and hoarding. Son of good fortune, focus your mind on the Dharma. By the profound path of Powa Tögal, without delay, perfect enlightenment will be achieved. Rely on that key point, it is the quick path. All the virtues of body and speech, Are just accumulating merit in samsara. There is no time to attain liberation and omniscience. Do not be mistaken, take meditation to heart. This is the essence of all my instructions. Take it as the essence of your heart, son. This was said by Dudjom for the sake of the student Tselha. Protected by Padma Gyalpo, the lord of a hundred families, you, the noble person who has entered the secret gate. The essence of your own mind is primordially pure, the vast environment of space. The Dharmakaya is unconditioned, the play of great bliss, the present awareness is free from elaboration, vast and boundless. Recognizing one's own nature, resting in its natural state, is the eye of wisdom. Seeing, meditating, clinging, and striving are all fabricated dharmas. Free from elaboration, letting go in the unconditioned nature, the wisdom of awareness is inexpressible. It is the unsurpassed path of all the Sugatas, seeing this, the yogi has entered the right path. To seek deeper Dharma than this is a great mistake. Now I will briefly explain the view, meditation, and conduct. The Bodhicitta of all the Buddhas of the three times without exception, the Dharma of the three realms of samsara is also Bodhicitta. Bodhicitta has no birth, death, increase, or decrease, the nature of great bliss without object is the view. In the nature of Dharma without action, do not alter it with conceptual mind, rest in its natural state.

On the Dharma nature endowed with the three gates of liberation, the key to meditation not bound by the fetters of characteristics: The key to the body is to remain comfortably like a corpse. The key to the mind is to abandon speech like a mute. The key to the mind is to be vast and boundless in its original, natural state. It is crucial to always rely on this key to equipoise. At any time, whether eating, sleeping, acting, or walking, the key is to act freely with a relaxed and happy mind. Thus, at all times and in all circumstances, the person who makes a point of taking this to heart will undoubtedly attain Buddhahood in one lifetime. These are the heartfelt words of an incapable old man, a definitive statement. This was said by Dudjom in the presence of Gelo. Good! Good! Good! Sarva Mangalam! 6 The Collected Songs of Sa The Collected Songs of Sa T11618 - 194 O you fortunate one connected by the karma of aspiration, Padmasambhava of Oddiyana and Saraha, From the prophecies of many wisdom dakinis, the ownership of my profound Dharma has been bestowed upon you. Therefore, strive single-mindedly in meditation and practice, and you mantra practitioners with karmic connections and pure samaya. Whenever the time comes, without any weariness, reveal this essential essence of the instructions, the Great Perfection, and the profound gate of Chöd (Severance). Those fortunate ones who listen and put it into practice will undoubtedly attain the state of vidyadhara in this life without deception. Even if you are an extremely unruly butcher, once you have entered the path of the Great Perfection, if you engage in the essential practice for three years, without taking longer than three lifetimes, you will undoubtedly attain perfect Buddhahood. In particular, the path of the Great Perfection of Clear Light Tögal, once you have seen it, if you practice it continuously for three years, you will undoubtedly be liberated in the first bardo. These are the authoritative words of the great Orgyen (Padmasambhava). Therefore, cherish and nurture disciples for the benefit of others. There is no other activity that is more important than upholding the Buddha's teachings. Such instructions are rare even in the three thousand worlds. Look and see clearly in all the kingdoms whether it is true or false. Therefore, do whatever you can to accomplish the benefit of beings, and all those who are connected to you will definitely be led to the realm of vidyadharas. These are the infallible words of Vajradhara. Thus, the blood-drinking Dudjom Dorje lovingly instructed his own disciple Dorje Namgyal. May it be entirely virtuous! Good! Good! Good! 2 The Collected Songs of Ngom The Collected Songs of Ngom T11618 - 196 To the Lama
