Since the time of death is approaching, do not be deluded. Some individuals have exhausted their lifespan and are facing the end of their lives. The signs of death, such as the completion of their years, loss of physical strength, and decline of mental faculties, have already manifested. Yet, they do not reflect on this, and continue to boast about themselves, proclaiming "I am great, I am good," clinging to the taste of fame and fortune, and failing to restrain their attachment. Observing them, they crave to enjoy fame and high status, but do not see that their lives are being wasted in meaninglessness. How pitiable! Do not place your trust in anyone else; place your trust in the Three Jewels! Do not be attached to other activities; dedicate yourself to the sacred Dharma! Engage! Do not rely on other hopes; rely on the ground of liberation! Do not let life pass by without meaning; concentrate on the essential practice! Success cannot be achieved through evil means, so strive to attain the kingdom of the Dharmakaya! Strive! Do not deceive yourself; dedicate yourself to the genuine Dharma of death! This human body is only obtained once, so cherish it and make it meaningful! Profound instructions and opportunities only arise once, so do not discard them, but put them into practice! Do not deceive yourself; do not forget death! When going to the next world, there are no friends or allies, so abandon the work of cultivating relatives and family! When death comes suddenly, even the body and food must be abandoned, so there is no way to accompany friends and relatives. Therefore, sever all attachment and clinging from the depths of your heart! These are heartfelt words of affection for all lineage holders, the essential instructions for perfecting practice, and the supreme path for attaining liberation in this life. Therefore, put them into practice! Inscribe them indelibly on your mindstream! If you do not possess these key points, you will not attain liberation in this life. Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾཿ, Devanagari: ओम्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ)! Therefore, take to heart the essence of these instructions! Alas! Vajra of Awareness, if you do not understand the difference between Buddhas and sentient beings, you will mistake sentient beings for Buddhas, and those foolish and ignorant ones risk wasting their lives in vain! What is that? It is like this: The term "Buddha" refers to one who has cleansed the defilement of ignorance in the realm of Dharma, and whose wisdom and qualities have fully blossomed. Therefore, they are called "Buddha." Like the vastness of the sky, boundless and limitless, free from the eight extremes of elaboration, possessing the three doors of liberation, awakened in the great bliss of equality, the Dharmakaya is without form, characteristics, words, and signs.

Vast emptiness! Since it is separate from the changes of the three times, it has no basis. Do not think that the Buddha other than that has a body! If you think so, you will think that the Buddha has parents, wouldn't that be a sentient being who falls into the edge of birth? Do not think that the Buddha has a self! If you think there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being bound by the ignorance of the only self? Do not think that the Buddha has a place called a pure land, With the vessel and essence world! If you think there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being bound by the two of the grasper and the grasped? Do not think that the Buddha has eyes! If you think there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being with eye consciousness? Do not think that the Buddha has ears! If you think If there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being with ear consciousness and sound, that is, a sentient being with this appearance? Do not think that the Buddha has a nose! If you think there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being with the grasping and the grasped of the nose? Do not think that the Buddha has a tongue! If you think there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being with the grasping and the grasped of the tongue? Sentient beings? Do not think that the Buddha has a body! If you think there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being with the grasping and the grasped of the body? Do not think that the Buddha appeared in the past time! If you think it has appeared, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being who will fall into the edge of death? Do not think that the Buddha will appear in the future. Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om)! Don't think it will. If you think it will appear, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being confused by the power of birth? Do not think that the Buddha exists in the present time. If you think it exists in a certain place, wouldn't you think that it is an unchanging and constant sentient being? Do not think that the Buddha has the nature of a teacher-disciple retinue! If you think there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being with self-other substantial clinging? Do not think that making prostrations, offerings, and reverence to the Buddha will have good and bad acceptance! If you think so, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being with good and bad partiality? Do not think that the Buddha has a place, has the boundaries of east, south, west, and north directions, has a recognized appearance, has a divided boundary, and exists separately! If you think there is, wouldn't you think that it is a sentient being with appearances and boundaries?
