There arise many parents, relatives, in-laws, friends, etc., who say that one must strive. They, wishing me to be happy and joyful, teach methods that lead to endless suffering, like the blind leading the blind. Many are the teachers who, thinking they are doing good, teach evil. However, I think that only a qualified lama can teach the method of ultimate and lasting happiness. Therefore, one must know the key of controlling oneself and not listening to anyone's words. Although one may want to benefit one's parents and relatives by accumulating sins for their sake, one should contemplate the fact that both oneself and others will be thrown into endless lower realms. Now, this body of mine is born from the flesh and blood of my parents. With the hope that it will benefit and bring happiness to them, they have given me the essence of food with great hardship, clothed me in the finest garments, and raised me with great love. Now, if I were to attain the state of perfect enlightenment, the complete Buddha of lasting happiness, then this body of mine, nurtured by my parents, would achieve great meaning, and they both would accumulate vast merit. I would also repay the kindness of my parents, accomplish the service of my lama, and bring about vast benefit for sentient beings. Recognizing this, I will devote all my mind to the Dharma. Relying on uncertain, solitary mountain retreats, I will be content with food, (Tibetan: ཨོཾཿ, Devanagari: , Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) whether good or bad, just enough to sustain life. I will be content with a dwelling, whether good or bad, just enough to protect from rain and wind, and I will strive in the essential practice. If one eats too much, thoughts will increase, and one will fall into laziness and distraction. If one relies on beautiful and soft clothes, one will be controlled by vanity and want to show off in all lands. If one drinks alcohol, the mind will become uncontrollable, and the practitioner will degenerate into ordinariness. If one is too fond of white, red, sweet, and oily foods, one will spend one's life in striving and be in danger of losing virtuous thoughts. Therefore, one should be without adornment on the outside, without accumulation on the inside, without reliance on others, and without generating the thought of giving oneself. Even if one dies now, one should be without attachment or lingering thoughts, like a small bird flying from a treetop. One should have no master above, no servant below, and not even need any neighbors. First, one should leave one's relatives and homeland and go to another place, relying on women and orphans. One should protect the wealth, food, and lives of the living and the dead, and protect from fear.

Used as wage remuneration. If you hear even a little praise, arrogance and conceit fill your mind, Like a corpse lying face up, using boasting as proof, then praising oneself and denigrating others; if you hear even a little slander, hatred and anger fill your mind, and you start arguing; you don't even know that you will die now, but you instruct others with foreknowledge; your views are high and mighty, beating the big drum of your throat; like a dog on the road, you are busy clinging to your homeland; like running in a ghost town, you are constantly infatuated with rituals; great practitioners, in order to be great and seek fame and fortune, waste their lives, not even separating the years and months, and end up ordinary at the time of death; wise people do not reveal the faults of others, but reveal the faults and shortcomings of their own minds, but, without considering their own faults, those who cling to attachment and aversion in this life are a mixture of humans and ghosts, and their consciousness is deluded by demons, so they must abandon such evil deeds and strive to practice; not doing even a little virtuous deed themselves, but slandering and scolding those who do virtuous deeds, these are beings blessed by demons and evil spirits, so they have lost the opportunity to practice the Dharma; even if they practice the Dharma, when many friends gather, they feel bored and tired, so they leave alone, longing to practice the Dharma; when they live alone, like a calf, (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)ཨོཾ,ओ,oṃ,唵!like being separated from their mother, they run around in all the towns and villages; like a marmot being locked in a burrow, they cannot settle down; like a stray dog searching for food, they wander around the villages and houses without rest; they like to talk and chat, looking for someone to chat with, thereby destroying the virtuous deeds of others; because they have too many thoughts, even if they recognize themselves, they do not believe in practice, always thinking of going on pilgrimage; when they go on pilgrimage, they long to stay put, or long to return to their homeland, these people are destined to waste this life and the next, and do not accept teachings; seeing others superior, they become jealous, burning their own minds; without considering that their own merits are exhausted, they slander those who have merit; because they are always thinking of needing and needing, without contentment, without considering that they cannot do even a little thing themselves, they easily exploit those who seem useful; they find it difficult to exert the strength to tie their own belts and shoelaces, but without considering this, even if others move mountains, they are not satisfied, and they want to add another layer.
