,For the nameless, it is the basis of the appearance of names; for the non-existent, it is the basis of the appearance of things; for the harmless, it is the basis of the appearance of benefit and harm. For the one without samsara and nirvana, it is the basis of the appearance of samsara and nirvana; for the one without desirable qualities, it is the basis of the appearance of desirable qualities. In the state where all these are absent, ascertain and know that they are absent. If you view the object of the basis of appearance as annihilation, you will fall into nihilistic views; if even the basis of appearance and the object are absent, then appearance is meaningless. Therefore, understanding the basis of appearance and the object as luminosity and emptiness, the nature of being free from elaboration, is mastering the ground. Although this ground exists in the continuum of all sentient beings, it is tightly bound by grasping and fixation, and it is regarded as something else, and firmly clung to. This is like water that is originally free-flowing, The bond that turns into ice is coldness; the bond that makes the ground, which is originally free, appear as things is the duality of grasping and fixation. Therefore, practitioners who do not understand the reality of grasping and fixation, although they have great hearts, the ground has become unpointed, and no matter how much they practice, they will not become Buddhas. Alas! Vajra of Awareness, if you do not understand the difference between delusion and liberation, you will mistake delusion for liberation and wander on the wrong path, and therefore you will not attain the great ground of complete liberation. The situation is as follows: Delusion also has delusion in the continuum, Delusion on the path, and delusion on the wrong path. Delusion in the continuum is when the minds of all sentient beings are deluded by ignorance, grasping and fixation, and they do not see the door of the path. There are many kinds of delusion on the path; in particular, spending one's life looking at thoughts and modifying them, thus accepting various kinds of happiness and suffering. Some are deluded into madness, like blocking the gap in a stream, causing the water to gush out and swirl; some mistake comfortable experiences as the essence of meditation and are deluded; and some mistake bright experiences Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城體:ओम्,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,漢語字面意思:唵). For those who are attached to experience, they are deluded by taking experience as the essence of meditation; some are attached to various manifestations such as deities or ghosts that appear in bright experiences, and preach to others; they themselves are attached to the highest view, and spend their lives pursuing pride and arrogance, etc.; even if they practice, they practice for this purpose; even if others give guidance, they do not believe it to be true, and they do not turn back from that path.
