Dharma! May I attain ultimate perfection in this very life, and swiftly attain the state of Buddhahood without delay! In the vast expanse of Dharma-nature, may the wisdom of knowing and seeing blaze forth! May the three realms of samsara be completely transferred into the realm of the three kayas! In the vast expanse of primordial purity, may all impure illusory phenomena, like the destruction of a magical wheel, be liberated in this very moment! May the minds of all sentient beings, like awakening from a dream into the realm of reality, be pacified in the great primordial inner space! May I attain enlightenment as the youthful vase body! Then, from the mouth of the primordial, original teacher himself: O Vajra of Awareness, when individuals make aspirations, first establish all the Buddhas as witnesses and make aspirations. Finally, in order for the aspirations to be fulfilled, repeat the truth again and again, and if the accomplishment mantra is not recited at least seven times, it will be very difficult to accomplish. Or at a sacred support or a lama, a virtuous spiritual friend, and in a gathering of many Sangha members, and on the eighth day of the lunar month and during solar and lunar eclipses, if one makes aspirations and speaks truthfully, they will be accomplished. Thus he spoke. Furthermore, Bodhisattva Rigpai Dorje (Vajra of Awareness) said: O Teacher, Bhagavan, at the time of practicing this supreme, profound, secret, Great Perfection teaching, are there any obstacles or deviations of error? If there are, please, Teacher, explain them as they are. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: O Vajra of Awareness, first, when establishing the profound view, there is a danger of misunderstanding and realization. What is that? It is like this: Understanding is merely hearing what is said from the mouth of the teacher, like learning letters, merely memorizing the words without analyzing the meaning, merely reciting verbally without deeply understanding, merely arising with the pride of thinking 'I know,' without it entering one's mindstream, this is merely understanding, not realization. Mistaking this for realization is like having wealth in the treasury of a king, but not seeing it with one's own eyes and not having the authority to use it, merely hearing others speak of it and keeping it in mind, Oṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:唵), thinking 'this is my wealth,' but in reality, it has not even a hair's breadth of meaning. Realization is what the teacher has said.

Ma! Whether it is seeing the state of Tantra, Agama, and Upadesha, or any of the three that arise from the realm of wisdom, first, taking a slight understanding as a cause, repeatedly examining and analyzing, from the subtle to the detailed, knowing that all phenomena of appearance are empty and without a place to dwell from their own perspective, and ultimately, being of one taste in the great emptiness, all of samsara and nirvana arise naturally from the realm of one's own ground, and nothing else is established, and being able to definitively determine this is realization. However, even if beings, including gods, have shown many times that samsara and nirvana are self-existent, permanent, and unchanging, if there is no vast and profound wisdom of realization that does not give rise to doubt in the mind, one will turn away from the path of liberation. The nature of realization is the essence of meditation, and there is no meditation more excellent than realization. If one does not first hear, then experience in the continuum, and finally have the certainty of realization, then there will not even be the name and scent of view and meditation.
