Without establishing a realm with its own characteristics, the wisdom and qualities of the basis, the essence of the Sugata, are all established as the basis, and the teaching for the sake of taming beings is the Dharmakaya, the ultimate truth without characteristics, or the definitive meaning; Binding with the box of characteristics, explaining names and realms as having their own characteristics is the conventional truth or the provisional meaning. The first explanation of the five bodies is as follows: The phenomena, appearing in various ways, Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओम्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ): All phenomena are one taste in the emptiness of Dharmata, therefore it is called Dharma. From the inconceivable differences of realms and faculties, the entrances to the path are inconceivable, the experiences of practice are inconceivable, and the attainments of the result are inconceivable, accumulated and piled up like a mountain, therefore it is called Kaya (body). For sentient beings obscured by ignorance and afflictions, from the moment the consciousness of self-grasping arises, all appearances of dreams and this life and the next, and all the enjoyment of the vessel and essence, are spontaneously perfected as enjoyment without doing or striving; at the time of Buddhahood, purification and liberation, all the play of body and wisdom, are spontaneously perfected as enjoyment without doing or striving, therefore it is called the Sambhogakaya (Enjoyment Body). From the nature of the basic Sugata-garbha, the mind of emanating manifestations has never wavered or moved; because manifestations have never been consciously emanated, they are unmanifested. Just as the stars of the ocean are not different from the ocean, all appearances of samsara and nirvana spontaneously arise as various manifestations that are not different from the Sugata-garbha itself, therefore it is the Nirmanakaya (Emanation Body); for this, from the moment of self-grasping consciousness, there is no way to make one's own body invisible, so in all appearances of dreams and daytime and the next life, in the form of self-grasping, for the self arising from conceptual thought, as friends to be enjoyed, various kinds of beings, like the transformations of birth, death, going, and coming, all that appears continuously is called the Birth Nirmanakaya. For those with the capacity and karma to be tamed, various means of accumulating merit in accordance with their respective realms and faculties, and various stages of the path, various forms of the Rupakaya (Form Body) corresponding to their own body, speech, and mind, the lamas and abbots and letters etc. who tame the beings to be tamed, are their own Sugata-garbha.

The one who shows himself the path to himself through the emanation of a tamer is called the Teacher Nirmanakaya. Also, the painted images, embossed images, and self-arisen images made of colored powder, etc., made by a certain great craftsman, and built by a certain great benefactor, are the supports of the body; the supports of speech are various written scriptures; the supports of mind are stupas, phurbas, and meteoric iron vajras, and Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾཿ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) etc., are the places of respect where prostrations, offerings, circumambulations, etc., are performed; these appearances as fields for accumulating merit are not made by the benefactor craftsmen, but the emanation of one's own Sugata-garbha appearing to oneself is called the Craftsman Nirmanakaya. Whatever appears as self, becoming the object of enjoyment for oneself, such as clothes and ornaments, furniture and bedding, food and drink, earth and water, fire and wind, dwellings and grass, trees and stones, iron and copper, silver and gold, brass, etc., the necessary utensils and unnecessary objects, and the various inconceivable kinds without mind and consciousness, the dharmas that appear in this way are called the inanimate Nirmanakaya. These four kinds of Nirmanakayas are the self-manifestation of the Sugata-garbha in the space where the knowledge of self-grasping becomes the object, just as the stars of the sky appear in a water vessel, which is the coincidence of causes and conditions, and appears as the stars in the water due to interdependence. Therefore, until the self-grasping of the beings to be tamed dissolves into the Dharmadhatu, the Nirmanakaya will appear continuously. When self-grasping dissolves into the Dharmadhatu, the activity of the Nirmanakaya is also completed, just as when the water dries up, the stars in the water disappear into the stars in the sky. Until self-grasping dissolves into the Dharmadhatu, the Nirmanakaya will appear continuously, just as in clear water, the image will appear continuously until the water dries up. Accumulating and piling up various emanations is called the Kaya. The non-conceptual wisdom of Dharmata, the great essence of the nature of all Sugatas gathered into one, the essence of all Samsara and Nirvana, the nature of Dharmadhatu that is of one taste, and accumulating and piling up all wisdom and qualities is called the Kaya. The basis is unmoving in the three times, and does not change for good or bad, therefore it is unchanging, and
