Transforming the red offering into flesh, blood, bones, and marrow and offering it; transforming the black offering into black liquid that washes away diseases, evil spirits, sins, and obscurations and offering it; these should be combined with the four times of day and given. At all times and in all situations, all doubts and conflicts in the mind should be suppressed. For all unwanted illnesses and sufferings, one should forcefully generate a hopeful mind and cultivate joy. Taking on the suffering of others oneself and giving one's own happiness to others, one should diligently train in this thought, this is the key. In general, one should go to all places that are considered to be inhabited by demons, and strive to forcefully generate conceptual thoughts in those places; this is the effort of all the key points. Outwardly, for the gods and demons that were not originally established but appear as gods and demons created by conceptual thoughts, or appear as miraculous transformations, one should cultivate joy like a vulture arriving in front of a butcher. Inwardly, even if there is an uncomfortable stinging pain in the body, one should cultivate joy like a poor person obtaining food and wealth, now, Oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, IAST: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om)! Thinking and saying: May the conch shell also become like this, increasing ninefold! Secretly, even if happiness and joy arise in the mind, one should directly cut off attachment and clinging; no matter what suffering and discomfort arise, one should directly cut off hope and fear, and cultivate joy; one should suppress the thought, "What's wrong if I can't take this body with me?" This is the most precious of the key points. These three, the outward, inward, and secret asking, are the three different ways of asking, know this! When this body becomes a corpse, whether it is burned in fire, thrown into water, buried underground, etc., one should think: All my efforts and hardships have become meaningless, what a pity! And think: In this world, the best thing is to give this precious body, this is the most excellent giving! Now, thinking: Why not leave the obstacles of samsara and the lower realms and go to the city of great liberation? Therefore, one should strive to practice the profound demon-cutting. If one does not properly understand this key point, one should not just say "cutting" with one's mouth or beat the drum. First, one must ascertain and realize the profound emptiness as it is, this is the basis of cutting, so know this point! At the end of practice, one should know that all of samsara and nirvana are the nature of pure space.

To proceed on the essential nature of meaning in complete maturity is the ultimate and unsurpassed basis of meaning. There is no more excellent tantra of profound demon-cutting yoga than this. Thus it was said. Then, the Bodhisattva Jnana Vajra rose from his seat and said to the Bhagavan: O Teacher, Bhagavan, well done! Is it the case that merely knowing the state and history of emptiness, where all phenomena of existence and non-existence are by nature unestablished, is sufficient to be certain of entering this vehicle, which is called my own nature, awareness-emptiness, Great Perfection? Please, Teacher, explain this. He replied: O Jnana Vajra, knowing that all phenomena are by nature unestablished and empty is the great common basis of all vehicles, and is not to be identified with one vehicle. Those who do not know this, whatever they meditate on, are only virtuous deeds of the mind, and are not even close to the path of liberation. Therefore, from form to omniscience, Om (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om)! To teach that all phenomena are emptiness is the essence of the speech of all the Victorious Ones, the common basis of all vehicles, called the View. The View is the great and indispensable foundation of all paths. Through the function of the elements and faculties, beings are shown to be of three kinds, superior, middling, and inferior, and from the differences in the paths taught, many categories of vehicles are shown. The Great Perfection is to know as it is the state that is the basis and fruit of all vehicles, and to proceed on the essential nature of meaning. Its way of being is as follows: Great without basis or root, Pervading the sphere of space, A play of unobstructed transparency. This is the great essence that is primordially free from all faults, stains, and habitual tendencies. There is no Buddha other than this in the external realm, and even if it were assumed that there were countless Buddhas as vast as the expanse of space, and one were to set out to improve all their wisdom and qualities on this basis, it would be of no benefit whatsoever. Why is that? Because there is no object to which to apply benefit. From the past, Buddhas have not wandered in samsara, look to the empty Dharmakaya! Existing in non-existence.
