The cause of appearance itself That which dwells in the mindstream is generated with form and characteristics, and through the power of meditation, it will actually be accomplished. The appearance of the vessel and its contents, all desirable qualities, are not established from the beginning because they are separated from the root. However, all that appears, the world, and desirable qualities are made to appear vividly. Clarified by the mind and established by the intellect, clinging to things with discrimination and grasping them, just as they are established as true, so too, know that accomplishment is achieved in the same way. Due to the fact that the great primordial base is obscured by ignorance, all the qualities of the base appearance sink inward, and the appearance that has shifted from radiance appears as truly established on the face of appearance, which is skillful means; and on the face of emptiness, there is nothing, which is wisdom, that is, existing in the manner of union of father and mother. Since it does not go beyond the ultimate path, the wisdom of non-discrimination of the nature of reality, it arises from the assembly of causes, conditions, and interdependence. Thus, the power of meditation generates offerings and accumulations like illusory substances, arranges and displays them; recites increasing mantras like illusory mantras; and in the realm of the six faculties of those objects of offering, arranges and manifests appearances like illusory transformations. Oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: oṃ)! After that, in the realm of those faculties, until they are destroyed, the inexhaustible desirable qualities are manifested as a treasure of space, which is called the illusion of samadhi, the supreme and unsurpassed of offerings and generosity. Its symbolic example is like the arrangement of enjoyment of the Joyful Heaven; for example, when a person is in a dream where appearance turns into a place of suffering, unable to obtain enjoyment and only experiencing suffering, another person forcibly awakens him, transforming that person's appearance into a place of happiness, and all desirable wealth emerges, settling into happiness, just like that, transforming the appearance of the place of offering and generosity into a place of happiness, making the desirable qualities transform like a treasure of space, that is, in the realm of the six faculties of all those objects of offering and generosity, which are clear, bright, and free from turbidity, like water, through the power of the causes, conditions, and interdependence of desirable objects, mantras, and samadhi, know that it transforms like the image of stars immediately appearing. These key points are those who directly see the reality of the nature of reality...

The conduct of noble ones is supreme. All the offerings made by those who do not understand this are merely children's games and will not produce any meaningful results. Therefore, I, like an illusionist, regard the object of offering as a spectator. I conjure up the enjoyment of desirable things as a magical feast, pleasing the object of offering. Finally, just as the wheel of illusion dissolves into space, I leave the three circles without any attachment in the vast expanse of space. This is the samadhi of playing with the nature of reality as illusion. Accumulate the collection of merit with the mind, and realize the great collection of wisdom with intelligence. If the mind does not emanate, the collection of merit will not be complete, and therefore the object of offering will not be pleased. Even offering sacrifices and ransoms to ghosts and spirits, or dedicating desirable things to the dead, will not repay debts or karmic debts, nor will it alleviate various sufferings. Because the ghosts and spirits that arise from the conceptual thought of clinging to ghosts become enemies, it is like killing oneself with one's own weapon. Therefore, observe all the actions of beating ghosts in town rituals, and the inability to protect the living and guide the dead, and abandon the actions that lead to the destruction of both this life and the next. Grasp the key points of action! Those yogis who have realized the nature of reality as suchness, even if they strive to accomplish the benefit of themselves and others, will surely accomplish everything effortlessly with the great power of the samadhi of playing with the nature of reality as illusion. Thus it was said. Again, the Lord of Appearances said: O Teacher, Blessed One, what are the key points that those who practice the profound severance of demons should know? Please, Teacher, reveal them. The Teacher replied: O Lord of Appearances, the profound wisdom of realizing selflessness is called the realm of severing demons. The key points to be understood in it are as follows: First, due to the ignorance of being alone, the face of the Dharmakaya is obscured, and the consciousness of ego-grasping arises, so that the bodiless appears as having a body. There, the consciousness of cherishing attachment is very stable and firm, so the body is grasped as self, cherished and protected, and various hopes, fears, joys, and sorrows are closely embraced, thus wandering in samsara.
