Since you do not think that all the contents of the three realms die and disappear together with me, please, O Teacher, show the true meaning of this. Having asked this, (the Buddha) said: O Lord of Appearances, it is a mistake that all sentient beings know and hold such a thought as true. Knowing that I act on others is not the realization of emptiness. From beginningless samsara, it is a mistake to grasp self-appearance as other-appearance and to take it as close. All the appearances and sensual pleasures of dreams are not left behind and abandoned when one wakes up, but all disappear into the nature of the mind. Likewise, all appearances disappear into oneself. Therefore, one must be certain that there is no self-nature of containers, contents, and sensual pleasures on the other shore. On the level of the sole self, grasping that there are no sentient beings and appearances other than oneself, and mistaking appearances as true, is the mistaken path of sentient beings. Therefore, look at its state in your mind. When the Buddha's teachings decline, blind sentient beings determine emptiness, Oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, IAST: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ) determining that even if it is not established from my point of view, it is enough to determine that there is definitely a self-nature on the level of each container and content, and they reach the peak and make a decision there. Therefore, it is very rare to truly realize the emptiness of the ultimate path, so look closely at the state of the key point here. Thus he spoke. Again, the Lord of Appearances said: O Teacher, Blessed One, if it is so non-existent, is it a definite emptiness? In the realm of existence and appearance, is it certain that there is no experience of happiness and suffering, and no transfer from one place to another? Please teach, O Teacher. Having asked this, (the Buddha) said: O Lord of Appearances, this great being has not wandered in the samsara of the three realms since beginningless time. Nor has he moved and migrated to many other places. The eye has not seen a form as small as the tip of a hair, the ear has not heard a sound as loud as a rockslide, the nose has not smelled an odor, the tongue has not tasted a flavor, Nor has the body felt a touch. He has not taken a single step in the realm of samsara, nor has he done any work like agriculture, nor has he made an effort as small as a sesame seed. There is no sitting and standing, nor has he moved with all his limbs. He has not experienced birth, youth, adulthood, old age, sickness, and death.

etc. Please be sure to determine whether you have ever had such feelings!" Thus spoke the Blessed One. Again, the Lord of Appearances said: "O Blessed One, Teacher, this beginningless and endless delusion is certain, and the many cycles of rebirth are also certain; seeing realms with the eyes, hearing sounds with the ears, smelling odors with the nose, various tastes seen directly with the eyes, grasping tangible objects with the hands and tasting them by eating them, experiencing all soft and rough tactile sensations with the body, walking on the ground with the feet, and the phenomena of birth, old age, sickness, and death occurring manifestly; striving diligently to engage in agricultural work through effort and movement—why is it taught that these are not accomplished? Please, Teacher, explain it yourself!" Having requested thus, the Blessed One replied: "O Lord of Appearances, it is not a progression from the realm of dreams to the realm of daylight, but rather like a transformation of the place of appearance; although one sees realms in a dream, Oṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:ओँ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:唵)! Today, upon examination, one does not see even a sesame seed's worth; in a dream, various sounds, odors, tastes, and tactile sensations arise, Today, upon examination, the ears only hear their own sound, the nose only smells its own odor, and the tongue only tastes its own flavor; other than that, one has not eaten a single mouthful of food; although one dreams of walking across realms in a dream, one has not taken a single step there; although one seems to be diligently engaged in various agricultural labors in a dream, look today, one has not done it for even a moment; likewise, all the phenomena of birth, old age, sickness, death, going, staying, moving, and acting, although they do not exist, the deluded appearance is merely an appearance, without place, without abode, without support, unproduced, unborn—therefore, rely on the Teacher! Just like that, all appearances are merely appearances, but in reality, they are emptiness, not established as true!" Thus spoke the Blessed One. Again, the Lord of Appearances said: Dreams and daylight appearances are different; dreams are illusions, while daylight appearances are real and reliable, with a firm and unchangeable mind; since it appears that way, what is its true nature? Please, Teacher, explain it yourself!" Having requested thus, the Blessed One replied: "O Lord of Appearances, from the appearance of your body to the recollection of your mind, all the daylight appearances, including work, actions, agriculture, acquisition, accumulation, storage, effort, and desires, where are they now?
