In the transformation of appearances in the Bardo, one should become accustomed to transforming the pure realm of the Nirmanakaya into the appearances of the Bardo. Here, to manifest the appearances of body and wisdom, there are three kinds of vessel lamps: the essence of the body, the heart (Tibetan: ཙིཏྟ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: citta, Sanskrit Romanization: citta, Chinese literal meaning: heart), in the wick of the flesh lamp, there is the white radiant vein lamp, the essence of the vein, called the Kati crystal tube (Tibetan: ཀ་ཏི་ཤེལ་གྱི་སྦུ་གུ་ཅན་), like one part of a horsehair split into eight strands, with the same root, the two branches that pierce the center of the heart, Om (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om)! Like horns, curving from behind the two ears, piercing into the pupils of the eyes, the root there is the heart, the trunk is the vein, the fruit is the eye, the essence of the door is the far-reaching water lamp, It is called. These are the three vessel lamps. Although the three vessel lamps are referred to by three names, in reality, like root, trunk, and fruit, they are all contained in one meaning, therefore, in the stage of the path, it is only called the far-reaching water lamp. The three essence lamps are: the lamp of the completely pure Dharmadhatu, which is the essence of the outer five elements, the nature of impurities and essence, the five empty sounds transformed into light, called Dharmadhatu, and the impure grasping of reality is completely purified. The element appearing as space transforms into essence, which is dark blue and blue-green; the element appearing as water transforms into essence, which is white and gray; the element appearing as fire transforms into essence, which is red and apricot; the element appearing as earth transforms into essence, which is yellow and yellowish-brown and yellowish-black; the essence of the element appearing as wind is green and dark green and blue-green. In the initial impure appearances, how the colors appear, When they are transformed into the Dharmadhatu, they also appear as that color. In the Dharmadhatu appearance, initially the nature of the sun and moon, butter lamps, etc., is complete with five colors, like an unfolded silk filled with the rainbows of the Dharmadhatu, the appearance of rainbow cloth standing upright and radiating sideways appears. The initial practitioner, for about a month, looks at the sun and crystals during the day, the moon at night, and butter lamps in the morning and evening, and can gain stability. Initially appearing in a trembling and flickering manner, in the middle becoming more and more stable, and finally when abiding without trembling and flickering, looking at the brightness of the white hole, to judge the beauty and ugliness of the light.

Therefore, the key is to abandon the faults of satisfaction and dissatisfaction, and even if the outer sky is not empty, but only has a slight gray or blue tinge, to remain in a state of not making choices of good or bad. The transformation of the inner five elements into a pure aspect is: the essence of the earth element transforms into the essence of mind, appearing as blue-black; the essence of the water element transforms into the essence of blood, appearing as white; the essence of the fire element transforms into the essence of flesh, appearing as yellow; Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡)! The essence of the fire element transforms into the essence of warmth, appearing as red; the essence of the wind element transforms into the essence of breath, appearing as green. The lamp of the empty thigle is: the five essences appear as having a surrounding aspect, hence it is called thigle. Although it is a circle without rounded or square corners, visually, it appears like throwing a stone into a pool of water. In the tube called the 'Kati crystal tube vein,' the indestructible aspect of the thigle, filled with the light of the five essences, abides. Observing it with the eye of wisdom, do not cling to it as if it appears from within the vein and then manifests outward, but understand that one's own vein is illuminated by oneself. If the outer object is grasped as the object of focus, and awareness is held within, one will wander astray on the path of grasping at subject and object. In that pure space of the dharmadhatu, the radiance of awareness, like a golden thread, shines, appearing to move back and forth, which is the initial stage; the intermediate stage is like pearls strung on a thread; and finally, it expands into a net-like or half-net-like form. This is the basis for the manifestation of both kinds of essence lamps, which is the self-arisen lamp of wisdom, which is one's own awareness, called the Tathagatagarbha. The four lamps that manifest as the path are: the far-reaching water lamp, the lamp of the pure dharmadhatu, the lamp of the empty thigle, and the self-arisen lamp of wisdom. The key is to condense the four lamps of the yoga path into one essential point, gather them into one, and strive to practice, making sure to firmly grasp this key point. If one practices in this way, the manifestation of the luminous nature will not be like the mental fabrication of cutting through thoughts, but will actually appear at the gate of the sense consciousness.
