Nare! Let the two young children, the gods and demons, weigh the white and black karmas on a scale. The result showed that the black karma side sank. Looking in the mirror, it showed the power of sin; looking at the small note, it showed that non-virtuous karma was extremely serious. Immediately, the Dharma King proclaimed: "Let the consequences of this person's actions fall upon him! In this cold world, he has shunned white virtues like poison and used black sins like medicine. Send him to the hot hell!" As the order was given, the jailers, like capturing a criminal, made "swoosh, chacha" sounds, like a thousand dragons roaring at once, driving many sentient beings to hell. There, everything around was a burning iron ground, without gaps, and the entire sky was filled with flames, burning, dense, and swaying. They saw each other as enemies, beat each other with various weapons, and experienced the pain of dying and being reborn, which is the "Resurrection Hell." Also, on the body Oṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) a mark is made, and the body is cut with a burning iron plow, which is the "Black Line Hell"; people are thrown into a burning iron mortar and pounded with a burning iron pestle, which is the "Pounding Hell"; entering a burning iron house without doors, crying out in pain, which is the "Crying Hell"; being burned in a two-story burning iron house, making loud cries, which is the "Great Crying Hell"; piercing the body with a burning three-pronged iron fork until it turns to ashes, which is the "Burning Hell"; boiling in iron and copper pots, extremely hot, which is the "Extremely Hot Hell"; burning together with burning iron blocks, which is the pain between the "Uninterrupted Hell." Keeping all these pains in mind, truly imitating their voices, expressions, and actions, making people feel fear and disgust, this is the means of distinguishing consciousness; the body twisting, jumping, limbs stretching and contracting, this is the means of distinguishing the body; uttering strong wails and cries for help from the mouth, this is the means of distinguishing language. In the cold hells, the entire ground is covered with ice and snow and blizzards, there is the "Blister Hell"; there is the "Blister Bursting Hell"; there is the hell called "Achuu"; there is the hell called "Kyi Hu"; there is the hell of chattering teeth; there is the hell that cracks like a lotus; there is the hell that cracks like an Utpala flower; there is the hell that cracks like a great lotus, these are the eight cold hells; and the sufferings of the neighboring hells, etc.

Taking suffering into your mind, and continuously making sounds with your voice and various contortions, movements, and gestures with your body, just to train by arousing the self with suffering; likewise, practice the hunger and thirst of pretas (hungry ghosts), and the exploitation and slaughter of animals, etc.; the birth, aging, sickness, and death of humans; the battles of asuras (demigods); and the death, transference, and falling of devas (gods), etc., with various postures including twisting the body, jumping, running, leaping, going, standing, extending and contracting limbs, etc.; uttering various words with the mouth; Taking various experiences of happiness and suffering into your mind and experiencing them in your self, these are the stages of training in the bardo. Generating renunciation and disgust for samsara, like giving fried food to someone with a bile disorder, just to make them vomit, through such practice, temporarily, attachment to samsara can disappear, and one will strive to practice the sacred Dharma; ultimately, this will become the cause of shaking samsara from its very foundation. If you take the appearances of the bardo into your self and do not train the mind, renunciation will not arise from the depths of your heart. Therefore, if you hear about death and the suffering of samsara without taking these into your own self, it is like telling stories of things happening elsewhere, with little real impact on your self. Therefore, if you place these in your own self and train in appearances, then the meaning will surely be integrated into your self, so grasp this key of training the mind. In this way, placing all the appearances of samsara into your self and practicing repeatedly, in the end, your own appearances will instantly transform into their nature, and the outer container world will transform into emptiness, a dharmadhatu free from elaboration, the entire earth without hills, bumps, abysses, hollows, slopes, gravel, and thorny trees, etc., without any rough touch, the surface smooth and flat, like the palm of a young woman's hand; vast and expansive, its extent equal to the edge of the sky, soft when pressed and expanding when lifted; fragrant mists emanating from the medicinal mountain meadows; lotus flowers of various colors blooming, covering the entire earth; rainbows and networks of light woven into intricate patterns in the sky; clouds of desirable offerings floating in the sky like summer mists.
