The right face, very white, looks upwards, averting enemies by hating the hordes of demonic gods. The left face, red-black, looks downwards, averting enemies by hating the hordes of earth-owners, nagas, and fierce spirits. The central face, dark blue-black, looks in the ten directions, averting enemies by hating the hordes of directional guardians and the eight classes of spirits. The hair, red-yellow, blazes at the crown of existence, averting enemies by hating the agitation of appearance and existence. The right hands hold a vajra with nine points, hating the truth of the Dharma. The middle hands hold a vajra with five points, hating the five poisons of affliction. The first of the left hands holds a blaze of fire, hating the habitual tendencies of the two obscurations. The middle hands hold a khatvanga with three points, hating the agitation of the three poisons. The last two hands entwine a Mount Meru stake, hating the delusion of the three realms.
