Embracing the red lotus, both father and mother are youthful, adorned with beautiful marks and complete enjoyment, seated on a lion throne and lotus moon disc. From their bodies emanate red light and rays, offering immeasurable pleasing offerings to all the Buddhas and their retinues in the ten directions. Thus, all the powers and accomplishments of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities are completely and without remainder absorbed into oneself, and one thinks that one has obtained the power to control all of samsara and nirvana. Again, as the rays of light emanate outward, all the two obscurations and habitual tendencies of all sentient beings in the three realms are purified like sunlight hitting mist. All appearances and minds are enlightened in the nature of the basis and the based of great bliss and purity, like the sun rising in the sky, and they become my retinue and subjects, listening to my commands, taking on the responsibility of accomplishing all kinds of activities, and vowing to benefit beings with bodhicitta, taking on the great burden of the activities of the ocean of Buddhas, and contemplating in this way. Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hūṃ)! One's own self is the speaking lion, The nature of father and mother inseparable. From the body emanate immeasurable rays, Offering to all Buddhas and their children. Powers, four joys, and two wisdoms, Gathered into the form of a red light mass. One's own self clearly visualized as the deity and absorbed, Thus obtaining all powers and accomplishments. Rays emanate outward, purifying sentient beings of the three realms, All two obscurations and habitual tendencies are purified. All become heroes and heroines, Liberated in play, all, Absorbed into my control and power. All limitless activities, Taking on the responsibility and burden of accomplishment, Thinking of completely accomplishing all powerful activities. Oṃ Ara Paca Na Dhīḥ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨ་ར་པ་ཙ་ན་དྷཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ अर पच न धीः, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ a ra pa ca na dhīḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Oṃ, A, Ra, Pa, Ca, Na, Dhīḥ) Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hrīḥ)! Oṃ Hrī (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ ह्री, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ hrī, Literal Chinese Meaning: Oṃ, Hrī) Dhī Mā Mi Dhī Vaṃ Mañjuśrī Mūṃ Hrī Prajñāvardhana Hrīḥ Dhīḥ Svāhā (Tibetan: སྭ་ཧཱ༔, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Svāhā)! Recite the mantra without interruption of human speech. Protect the seat so that you can sit still before the warmth of the cushion disappears. Without letting the mind wander elsewhere, maintain the pride of the deity and strive to emanate and gather the rays. Also, at the time of intense dusk, visualize yourself as the black-blue wrathful Manjushri, wrathful and fierce, with two legs stretched and bent, mouth open, tongue darting like red lightning, wrinkles of wrath dense like ripples of water, teeth white like a snow mountain, fangs sharp and white like a crescent moon.

Homage. With three eyes darting in anger, the veins of the eyes flickering like red lightning; from the beard blazes the fire of the eon's end, and the eyebrows flash with a thousand lightnings; the right hand holds the blazing sword of wisdom, poised to circle the head, while the left hand holds a noose of fire; the body is adorned with garlands of snakes and human heads; the lower body is clad in a wet tiger skin; dwelling in a realm where light blazes like the fire of the end of time; in the heart of that being, on a lotus and moon seat, within the bifurcation of the hilt of a blazing sword, is the black, blazing syllable དྷཱིཿ (Tibetan: དྷཱིཿ, Devanagari: धीः, Romanized Sanskrit: dhīḥ, Literal meaning: wisdom), contemplate that all the power, strength, and ability of the Buddhas of the three times, together with their retinue, are fully complete within it, and finally, within the inner level is the root mantra, and on the outer level, the fierce mantra together with its own sound surrounds it, from which the fire of wisdom blazes intensely from cyclic existence, and its light burns away the imprints of ignorance, the stains of unknowing, all diseases, evil spirits, sins, obscurations, afflictions, and so forth, contemplating until not even a trace of residue remains. In her lap, the supreme consort, Norgyun (Tibetan place name), dark blue and wrathful, possessing an extremely terrifying demeanor, wearing a human skin and leopard skirt, with both feet entwined around the father's waist, the right hand holding a sword, and the left hand holding a jewel, embracing the father's neck, with lips joined, contemplate that in her heart is the red syllable ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal meaning: shame), upon which a red wheel of light spins rapidly. Contemplate that from the mantra wheels in the hearts of the father and mother, a red-black fire blazes intensely, burning away the container and contents, encompassed by the two graspers ཝྃ། (Tibetan: ཝྃ།, Devanagari: वम्, Romanized Sanskrit: vam, Literal meaning: seed syllable), together with all dualistic imprints, dissolving them into the play of the great emptiness of samsara and nirvana, becoming boundless. From the power of the great wisdom of the two knowledges, the great fire of wisdom blazes intensely, burning away all earth lords, nagas, harmful spirits, epidemics, and so forth, contemplating until not even a trace of residue remains, and recite: Om Ara Pa Tsa Na Dhih Hrih Om Pra So Da, Chu So Da, Dur Ta So Da, Dur Me So Da, Nyen Go La Cho, Kha La Dza, Kang Shang Rba Pad Svaha. Recite without interruption, like a fierce stream of water. During the time of contemplating the deity, proceed in sequence, without confusion or error, as if threading a needle. Knowing that samsara and nirvana are not other than one's own self-appearance, understanding the key point of the profound view, and not separating from the state of illusion, this is the basis.
