arising. Therefore, the Khenpo attained the position, having mastered these, Lob Dra Bo Che was the Khenpo of others. Regarding the term "arts," art refers to illusion, writing, arithmetic, numbers, calculation, holding, throwing, steps, methods of transforming with iron hooks, swordsmanship, methods of throwing ropes, methods of..., the Khenpo of throwing, transforming forward, transforming backward, cutting, memory, piercing, striking from behind, striking with sound, hitting the mark, hitting without missing, being proficient in five positions, jumping, the holding of giants, leaping, victory, riding elephants, chariot methods, ruling, exerting power, and so on, there are sixty-four kinds. Among these, those that do not contradict my lineage are that some do not become Bodhisattvas because of others, or do not distinguish what does not contradict Brahminical knowledge. For those who have attained the position of Khenpo, it is as before. Regarding the meaning of the verses such as "knowing the Vedas," it praises the qualities of being respected by Brahmins, respected by the royal lineage, respected by all people in general, and benefiting the student community. The Brahmins who know the Vedas are revered like Brahma, the Vedas are remembered by Brahma, and it is said that there is no one more intelligent than him. Similarly, the great being is also considered to be proficient in the Vedas, and therefore is perceived as a second Brahma. Among these, there are three Vedas: recitation, poetry, and sacrifice. Some recite the four that protect the government. Proficient in the Vedas that include limbs and near limbs, that is, proficient in the life Vedas, such as medicine and astrology. Respected by kings, like becoming the best of kings, such as the Chakravartin. People generally think that seeing him is a happy and wonderful thing, so he is perceived as seeing Indra in person. Those who want to learn are the students who pursue learning the Vedas and so on, for their benefit.

Having the ability is like a father accomplishing the son's affairs. Having merit is an innate virtue. Virtue becomes special because it arises from effort. While fulfilling wishes, becoming his student, the so-called wish fulfillment is a Bodhisattva. Corresponding to this is being like him, which is emulating him. Repeating "son, son" twice expresses not being rushed and being amazed. Transcending the limits of love, the so-called limits of love is that even if love is very small, it is love for oneself or one's son, and even that is absent, so it transcends those. Like reeds being burned by fire, the so-called reeds being burned by fire is that they quickly wither and turn to ashes. Similarly, being dejected due to regret, without effort. Rather than killing the child, protect the elder sister, the so-called rather than killing the child, protect the elder sister, then by what means is protection from being killed achieved? It is protecting the elder sister, not letting her be killed. Rather than protecting the elder sister, protect her child, the so-called rather than protecting the elder sister's life, protect the child with the strength of the mother's milk. Precious relics, because the relics themselves are precious, so its stupa is also called that. Filled with the earth that holds and possesses these. What fills it? The rain of garlands and so on from before. It is the story of giving the body to the tigress, which is the first Jataka tale. Joy is not being weary of considering the benefit of sentient beings. Secret language is the special way of speaking to the inner ministers, which is doing what should be done and what should not be done. The power of splendor is being known for having a handsome appearance and great power. Perfect merit is having accumulated merit in the past, naturally being desired by others. Regarding this, the three wheels are in accordance with the accumulation of virtues, abiding as if pulling each other. The so-called three wheels are: politics in agreement with the people, etc.; the wealth of enjoyment; the field of merit; and the Dharma wealth of making great offerings to those who suffer. These virtues are in accordance and harmony, and because one is better than the other, they abide as if competing with each other. The complete perfection of all things refers to the things of virtue or the things of desire. Deceiving words are those that are harsh.
