The two verses called "striking" are the suffering of striking and destroying. The one verse called "iron hammer" and so on, is the suffering of calling out. The two verses called "coral" and so on, are the suffering of loud crying. Some consider the two verses called "foundation" and so on, to be the suffering of heat. Some consider what is called "fire" and so on to be the remaining suffering, the suffering of the vicinity, the first verse is the suffering of the immeasurable river. The verse called "others" is the suffering of the rotten and impure mud. The verse called "some" is the suffering of the burning charcoal pit. The verse called "other" is the forest filled with weapons, these are two verses. Some sufferings called "various" and so on, are the sufferings that exist in the sword-leaf forest. The verse called "iron cauldron" and so on, is the suffering of extreme heat. The two verses called "foundation burning" and so on, are the suffering of the uninterrupted hell. The conclusion is called "blizzard" and so on, summarizing with the cold hell, this is one verse, the remaining two are summarizing the hot hell. The excellent conduct of the former kings, such as King Yonten Gawa (Merit Joyful), means that through the conduct of those excellent disciples, monks, Brahmins, and the people are shown and taught to have their own compassionate way of behavior, and if they give and benefit, they will gain great fame. This is the path to go to heaven. "Understanding what is explained by the nature of Dharma" means that one should properly examine the nature of Dharma of cause and effect of karma explained by the wise. Your thought is the right view, and your actions are in the manner of a king, and in accordance with the Dharma, you should gradually go to obtain the desired fruit. So, how do you think about the right view? It is called "removing the mind of unwholesome merit" and so on. The action of that thought is called "discipline is stable" and so on. One's own merit is the splendor of the king's majesty, which means

The majesty of the king overwhelms others, either because of the merit previously accumulated that overwhelms others here, or because the merit accumulated for the sake of future lives is itself majesty. Proclaiming pleasing sounds to friends and subjects, encouraging them to virtue, dispelling their suffering, and bestowing benefits, this is what is meant by friends, and so on. Accomplishing one's own affairs is just the single verse "mine." Accomplishing the benefit of both oneself and others is accomplished through examples. Now, like a chariot owner, a charioteer who wishes to go to his own place, the chariot itself, with smooth eyes, and the wheels paired, possessing axles, drawn by tame horses, with a strong yoke covered with leather, driving the horse with a whip, inside the chariot possessing sharp weapons to ward off sounds and the like, possessing provisions such as food for the journey, and the owner possessing good friends inside the chariot, the chariot's yoke placed on the horse, possessing a yoke, traveling constantly without sounds of fatigue, the sound of wood slightly audible, without interruption, traveling on a straight path, and on such a vehicle or mount, raising a banner, not loading cargo, erecting a high victory banner. Similar to these, one's own mind and body's continuum is gentle, abiding in generosity and discipline, possessing the desire to engage in virtuous Dharma, guarding the doors of the senses with mindfulness, possessing awareness and vast learning, and at that time, with wisdom and virtuous conduct, cultivating patience and endurance, speaking to others with faultless words, with pleasing speech, the path like a vehicle of pure discipline and upright nature, bearing the burden of sentient beings with compassion, attaining the state that should be attained, attaining Nirvana. Attaining these, it becomes the great benefit of oneself and others, how could one look to go to the lower realms such as hell? Just as the path of the Great Vehicle is approximated by the example of a boat in the Noble Jewel Heap Sutra. This is the Great Brahma Chapter, the twenty-ninth.
