It is for this reason. Restraining the senses is the cause of both, as it also makes the precepts completely pure, and because it weakens thoughts of desire and so on, one will abide in meditative concentration. Moreover, the undefiled precepts are the discipline of meditative concentration. Inference is summarized by direct perception and so on. What is shown by convincing words is scripture, which is reliable, and is a synonym for the term 'flawless words.' The order of examination is to examine based on that, which is inference based on scripture. Some yogis can also directly perceive the next world, just as it is adorned with the sun, moon, and stars, and animals appear in a common way, this is an example. Do not generate doubt and evil thoughts about this. This means do not generate disbelief through the door of doubt. That is how others know the other world of others. Remembering past lives is also there and there. This means it is one's own. Inferring from the next world means inference based on scripture, because it is said that way, one should know that I also have a next world. Among them, the meaning of inference based on scripture is that those with clairvoyance who know death and birth have said that there are those who can know the past lives of others, and those who have attained the clairvoyance of remembering past abodes have said that they remember their other past lives, so I should also have other past lives, this is the reason of nature. That also cannot appear from me, this means inference by the force of things, that is, whatever has different results, it is seen that its causes are also different beforehand, like smoke and sprouts. These and the different bodies of others also depend on the different causes of the past, this is the reason of the result. If one thinks that different results are due to different causes in this life and do not depend on the causes of other lives, then the different causes made earlier also depend on the one before them, otherwise this present one will also become independent of the one before. If the previous one exists, it arises

It cannot be said that the previous moment is form, because such a previous moment of consciousness is considered a cause, and if the previous moment of consciousness were the previous moment of form, then since a different cause is not the maker of a different effect, it would become the cause of all things, which is consistent with the pervasiveness of the following argument. If the later mind arises from the earlier mind, then the next life and what manifests from it is a statement of pervasiveness. "The mind of the previous moment in the womb," which refers to the mind that has just entered the womb, is the subject. "It depends on the mind of the previous life immediately preceding it," which is to be established. "Because it is the nature of mind," which is the reason. Consciousness is said to depend on an object, but for the object of the mind dwelling in the womb, it cannot be the forms of this life, etc., so it must be other forms, etc., that have been seen. In this way, the next life is established. "Knowing what is to be known," etc., is one verse. If there is no cause for the next life, but only the conditions of parents, then sons should be similar, but many differences are observed. Whatever is different is not merely the result of those (parents), for example, potters are not the same, but the differences in pots are observed, so the pot is not merely caused by the potter. This is explaining the meaning of the verse "Beings are happy," etc. Whatever engages in its own actions naturally depends on prior habituation, such as the differences in the minds of craftsmen, etc. "Because it naturally engages in sucking milk and eating food," this is showing the sign of the result. The two sentences "The power of wisdom," etc., half and two-thirds of which are reasonable, and half of which is its pervasiveness. Merely sucking milk, without anyone teaching, does not necessarily depend on prior habituation, just as the power of the sun opens the lotus without anyone fixing (the direction), to avoid this uncertainty, "for that," etc., is needed. The answer to this is: the lotus does not depend on thought at all, but sucking milk depends on thought. Depending on thought is because thought has been previously habituated. I
