It is a word called "reproaching with...". Therefore, one should fulfill people's expectations. Combining it like that, it means expecting to be ordained. So, how should it be accomplished? There are two things: abandoning and taking. The first is the meaning of "abandoning the house of afflictions with bad conduct," which means that pursuing and guarding the enjoyment of bad conduct, etc., are the root of affliction and suffering. Taking is the meaning of "cultivating with the merit of joy in the ascetic forest," which means the merit of practicing discipline and its conducive conditions, etc. "With wealth, methods, and power, nothing can overcome me." "With what suffering," etc., means that with what wealth can poverty not be prevented, with what methods can diseases, etc., not be prevented, and with what power can enemies, etc., not be prevented. From that, for those who want wealth, take away the wealth; for the other two, if there is harm, then harm and repel the enemy. If someone thinks that those outsiders can be ordained, but they themselves are lagging behind, how is that possible? Things cannot be accomplished due to lack of ability, and even if others abandon them, they cannot be done. "Saying 'Good, good,' how can one enter the fire?" It is like saying that. Embracing a friend means having become a friend, or having become a relative. If you see your friend being careless, declining in this life due to the affairs of others, and associated with harm, then if it is appropriate to guide them with harshness to a beneficial path that can reverse the situation, then doing so is beneficial, and if it is done gently, then there is no need to mention it. Because that matter will not be corrected even with afflictions, so it was said. Now, it is not a matter of entering a place of carelessness, so it is shown that it should not be prevented, like "the forest dweller," etc., living in the forest without doubt or fear, just living in an ordinary place, so how can one not worry? The necessity there is that if it is necessary to abandon things given by others, or if it is necessary to guard the minds of others, then these are not in the forest. Fear is the decline of enjoyment or enemies, etc., but these are not there. Therefore, living in an ordinary place, because it is not disturbed by things like the dust of conditions that give rise to all afflictions.

And also fighting and crossing rivers, etc. Even when one is poor, friends will pretend. Seeing the appearance of coming with tears in their eyes means that one is poor and weak. Even if they cannot help, those friends will see smoke, etc., when other friends encounter misfortune. Now, even though they can help, they do not, which shows the ways of the world. This is what is meant by "the nature of a friend," etc. How does one pretend to deceive and fight? By not following appearances. To refute, they scream and speak with eyes full of tears. Pretending is also like treating a guru, bowing their heads and prostrating to them. That is deceiving and fighting, that is pretending. Even to those of equal status who should not be prostrated to, they act as if they are prostrating to a guru, and that is also pretending. If these people are loving, they will know that I will also follow them into renunciation after I renounce. How wonderful is the holy mind! Will it not change like the behavior of a dancer? This is mockery of others, because others want to become a mind that is beneficial to others, so it is called a holy mind, which is to gain the approval of others. That wonderful behavior is like a dancer, sometimes not cherishing, sometimes cherishing, and not understanding why they do not cherish when they do not cherish. This is what is meant to be expressed, the so-called lack of merit, because one cannot receive help from others. Even at the time of one's death, there are friends, but those with merit go to the forest alone: not a single friend, how strange! This is easy to understand. It clearly explains that having friends when one has no merit is like a mad elephant, which is also easy to understand. Those are, or those are not, meaning, is it not language, or is it not me? When not cherished, it is not me, and at that time you are not my friend either. When cherished, I am, and you are too. Like this, merit without love will not follow. Because I have done bad deeds, do you not remember me? My friend is living comfortably like this, has it changed like this?
