Iga. Praise is to generate joy. Praising the virtues of compassion is because compassion benefits others and perfects one's own accumulation of merit. The greatness of the Tathagata is in terms of the greatness of the cause, because the Shravakas and others do not have such a cause. Listening to the Dharma with reverence is because the Victorious One who has accumulated such merit is difficult to find, so it should be known that hearing his Dharma is very rare and meaningful. Furthermore, the Yakshas who hear the Dharma will also benefit from it, so it should also be understood that hearing the Dharma is very meaningful. The so-called five monks are the five excellent groups, namely Kaundinya, Ashvajit, Vashpa, Mahanama, and Bhadrika. The so-called "doing many things" means that the Tathagata has done many benefits for them, such as feeding five tiger cubs, and should be understood in conjunction with the stories of enlightenment of Sutolakarne and others. Giving the nectar of Dharma means that when the Dharma is first taught, there is no eye disease of Dharma on the Dharma, it is without defilement and completely pure. This is the eighth chapter of the power of compassion. Subduing the senses and so on are the virtues of the cause, which are obtained through restraining one's own senses in many lifetimes. Courage is strength. Behavior is to follow the king's way of behavior and the teachings of the law. Complete subduing is patience and obedience. Such people have obtained the glory of a victorious and superior kingdom that surpasses others. The truth of examining the meaning is to be proficient in the eighteen examinations such as examining horses and examining elephants. The inner entourage proclaims good laws, which means that the inner ministers enact and proclaim the king's laws. The virtues of those ministers are also to strive for their own Dharma and affairs, and so on. Dharma is to accumulate merit for the next life. Affairs are the affairs of this life. Dissatisfaction means not being tired of work. Living in peace means living well, not being associated with afflictions and sins. Closeness means thinking of fulfilling the king's commands. Glorious closeness means that the entourage and wealth all act in accordance with my thoughts.

For example, saying "like a young girl of noble lineage" refers to the king's consorts and others who comply with the king's wishes. Asceticism refers to having the merits of discipline and practice. Being skilled in the five sciences makes one a scholar. Arts refer to being skilled in methods of defeating enemies, and so on. Becoming a crown prince means being born. Then gradually growing up, and other virtues, and so on. Disregarding ill-repute and Dharma means inciting others out of jealousy, which is the cause of ill-repute and the cause of sin, even disregarding ill-repute in this life and harm in the next. What is the basis of all perfect victory, since you conquer? It is called "corporeal," referring to the elephant itself. Being skilled in the three wheels of support means venerating those who suffer, those who benefit, and the field of merit. Or, not considering the place, thought, and manner, which comes from the treatises on governing the country, but not considering it, nor imitating it, but imitating the Dharma. Not walking the path contrary to the Vinaya means not destroying the laws established by others. Disliking carelessness is the thought. Not seeing the committed fault is the action. The teacher of raging desire says: How does the peacock of the doctrine dance? Just as the difference in people's skill in dancing lies in the teacher's instruction, so too the peacock dances by the power of desire. Not being despised means not becoming the cause of affliction. The shady trees with delicious fruits are the mango tree or the difference of edible trees. Because its fruits and shade benefit beings, a person with the nature of a child raises an axe to cut it down, and "the holding ground" refers to the land that does not depend on trees. Not being surprised means not preventing saying that it cannot be done here. Because the earth has no mind and is inanimate, it cannot prevent it, but if it has a thought, why can't it prevent it? Or, the difference between children cutting down trees, including the land with such trees, is not surprising.

The farmer who tramples the grain appears foolish, like a heartless person. Similarly, all kings who provide relief become the cause of happiness for all the poor, generating and cherishing them, that is how it is. Furthermore, just as a pond that is clear, sweet, and full of coolness, even when dug, does not dry up, like a person with the nature of a child, not preventing the expulsion of the king is also the same. Those who rule the world, their names become meaningless, because the meaning of the sound does not remain, so in the locality, ministers and others appear to be without wisdom. Has the good reputation vanished? It means, have those who rule the world, has their reputation vanished? Have they all died? Or, have they left alone, gone somewhere else for a while? Attacking the life of a beggar is expelling the king. Not protecting him, nor saving him from that, so for him, destroying the beggar is unwise, because that itself is a great cause of destruction. Where does this suddenly come from? This verse shows the special power of the forest. Where is the forest? The root of loving-kindness is planted, and soft grass that benefits grows. Moreover, the king of the mountain forest, the place where we dwell and reside, such as pulling with a chariot, and the place blessed by ascetics, the place revered by gods and others, as a forest that should be a dwelling, possessing great power, especially excellent, look here. Then, the Bhikshuni shows that this is not the merit of the forest, but the power of your own root of virtue, that is, "the noble ones" and so on. Even if completely familiar, it means, completely familiar is a synonym. Even if not specifically sought, unlike ordinary people, the necessary equipment will appear, but for others, even if they want it, it will not appear, so I think that great power, the four deer pulling the chariot, is your king. Like this, by observing the fruit of merit, one should know that it is an example of what was done before: The reflections of the stars in the sea, the blooming water lilies, are extremely beautiful, like watching the moonlight. Thus it is said, the reflections of the stars in the sea
