The disease of the uvula drooping or swelling is caused by mucus and blood disturbance. The disease of the throat, called ཤ་ལུ་ཀ་ (Tibetan: ཤ་ལུ་ཀ་), refers to the appearance of round pimples like juniper fruits inside the throat, which is caused by mucus. The treatment is to pierce the finger with a bloodletting tool tied with a thread, and then chew the medicine that is compatible with it as before, and spit out the juice. The disease of the throat, called རོ་ཧི་ནི་ (Tibetan: རོ་ཧི་ནི་), refers to the growth of a long, sprout-like flesh inside the throat, which is caused by any one of the three disease causes alone, or by all causes together, or by the fault of blood. It should be judged according to the respective symptoms. The treatment is that if it grows too large, it can even endanger life, so treatment should be done quickly.
