This is the treatment for tumors caused by bile disorders. Add haritaki powder to haritaki water four times the amount of ghee, and emblica officinalis decoction four times the amount of ghee, then boil it. When only half of the ghee remains, drink it appropriately, and it will quickly eliminate tumors caused by bile disorders. Alternatively, for those with bile tumors, you can take Himalayan fir powder mixed into a decoction of the three fruits. Or, mix sugar and gamboge with honey and take it to induce purgation. For diseases caused by phlegm, treatments include fumigation, binding fumigation, drinking medicinal ghee, using strong laxatives, gentle oil enemas, strong laxative enemas, and the methods previously mentioned in the ritual for treating wind tumors. The medicinal formula called "heat-generating" includes: ginger, long pepper, long pepper root, cardamom, fennel, and the ashes of burnt barley, each one ounce. Boil these in thirty-two ounces each of ghee and milk, and water four times the amount of ghee. When only half of the ghee remains, this ghee is called "six-ounce ghee." Drinking this appropriately can also eliminate tumors caused by phlegm, and it can also treat stomach diseases, leucoderma, spleen diseases, excessive phlegm, difficulty breathing, eliminate epidemics and swelling, and eliminate dry stools. Mix the decoction of mallow and other herbs with ghee, add the powder of the six types of medicines mentioned above called "heat-generating," and when only half of the ghee remains, or mix long pepper and other herbs with the ghee mentioned earlier and drink it appropriately, it can also eliminate tumors caused by phlegm. Mix the powder of Rhus succedanea, cardamom, and Aucklandia lappa with yogurt and drink it, which can also increase the body's heat. Mix the powder of radish seeds and turnips with yogurt and drink it, which can harmonize phlegm and wind. If a woman's uterine blood forms a tumor, and after ten months it is determined to be a tumor and not a fetus, oily treatments should be performed after gently softening the abdomen with medicinal ghee and fumigation, and then laxatives should be used. Fry the powder of Sophora alopecuroides, Ziziphus jujuba bark, Gentiana straminea, Terminalia chebula, and long pepper in sesame oil.

In sesame oil, add powdered brown sugar, three pungent spices, ghee, and Smilax china, and drink it to eliminate blood tumors. For women who do not menstruate, add the ashes of Oroxylum indicum to the juice boiled from Emblica officinalis, boil it, and feed it again. Alternatively, mix the juice boiled from barley malt with the powder of three pungent spices in alcohol and drink it to eliminate blood tumors. If the blood tumor spreads to the abdomen, causing excessive and unstoppable uterine bleeding, it should be controlled by following the previously described treatment for vomiting blood and the previously described treatment for eliminating wind disorders, and the pain should also be alleviated. For diseases caused by wind, etc., that cannot be discharged, an experienced doctor should be consulted, the veins in the arm should be cut, and moxibustion should be applied to tumors caused by phlegm and wind. In short, for tumor patients, heavy and phlegm-producing foods should be avoided, body temperature and strength should always be maintained, and food and drinks should be consumed in moderation according to their hot or cold nature. This concludes the ninth chapter on the treatment of tumors. Next, we will discuss the chapter on treating ascites. Ascites is caused by low body temperature and the consumption of unsuitable foods, which aggravate the disease, weaken the body, and block the veins and excretory openings due to drinking cold water, resulting in eight types of malignant ascites diseases. Among them, the symptoms of ascites caused by wind are: stabbing and pain in the abdomen, pain as if touching a lump, sounds, swelling of the legs, feet, and testicles, the appearance of black wrinkles, and prominent veins. The symptoms of ascites caused by bile are: a soft abdomen to the touch, fever, weakness, excessive thirst, body heat, dizziness, blue veins, and a yellow coating. The symptoms of ascites caused by phlegm are: excessive saliva, heavy body, difficulty breathing, excessive sleep, swelling, loss of appetite, fever, difficulty defecating, and a stiff abdomen.
