It is called "earth." Because there is no mixing, it is called "unmixed," meaning it becomes separate. It is said, "The Bhagavan is unmixed, but the Sangha of monks is mixed in the path." This means the Bhagavan is separate, and the Sangha of monks is separate. Because of practicing without mixing, it is called "practicing without mixing," meaning it is considered that afflictions do not arise together with others. Why are suffering and origin considered to be pervasive aspects to be abandoned by the path of seeing? Because one-pointedly focusing and being steadfast on all contaminated objects, it is powerful. The cessation of the five types of causes and the path, which are to be abandoned by seeing, also arise, so they cannot be shown by being contaminated, having the same object, or having different objects. The statement "by the five types of causes in the meantime" refers to those that are not pervasive. How is it known that afflictions to be abandoned by meditation are the cause of pervasiveness? Because attachment and so on to objects increase due to the influence of the view of self, and if that is absent, attachment to objects appears weak. In the scriptures, it also says, "What are the phenomena that arise from the cause to be abandoned by seeing?" The answer is: "They are afflicted phenomena." If all afflictions are caused by what is to be abandoned by seeing, then those who have abandoned pervasiveness will not have afflictions to be abandoned by meditation that are pervasive, and just like the appearance of pride and the pride of thinking "I am," those should also become pervasive. Answer: Because they are abandoned, it is not merely that the result arises from the cause, but because they are not abandoned, and because the view of the aggregates as a self and so on are abandoned, one obtains the non-analytical cessation of the appearance of pride and so on. Saying that these are different from the other means that the appearance of pride and so on are not the same as the other, so there is no fault. Furthermore, what is the meaning of pervasiveness? It means focusing on all contaminated objects. All five aspects are contaminated objects, and saying that there is no arising like this refers to one's own continuum here.

The feeling of is not approaching to self. Then, from what does it arise? It arises from seeing that there are good deeds and bad deeds. It will change like this: it releases all the power from my karma and fruit without distinction. Attachment and so on are deeply immersed in seeing, hearing and thinking. Attachment arises from this, that is, from practicing the laws of the village. This is not due to the difference in its color and shape, and the immersion in walking and sleeping, because these are subject to the subtle habits that are universally present. Thus, the meaning of being universally present is explained. The subtle habits that are governed by all the aggregates are those that are similar to the nature of the subtle habits that are aimed at the cause. Only the nature that is aimed at the cause is of the same kind, that is, the nature of the cause itself. Other views may target all of their own realms, but not for those who regard morality and asceticism as supreme, someone thinks so and asks: Who uses all the desire realm to..., this will be explained in detail, in everything, because the twenty places are different. Believing that everything that is not a cause is a cause, this should be used with the word desire realm. For those who regard morality and asceticism as supreme, how will the universal existence be established, this is to be considered. It will not be said that because of the difference of places, those all become targets at the same time. However, it will also be said that all five forms become targets at the same time, so it is universally present. If these five forms themselves are the desire realm, then how should we answer here? The answer is, the teacher Dharma Friend says, the answer is that the parts of these five forms are targeted at the same time. Because of not understanding this, it is said that the mind is continuous and so on. If the Great自在天 sees the cause of the world as a cause, or Brahma sees it as pure, then the five forms will also become targets at the same time. Even so, for those who have self-view, there will be craving for self, that is, for those who regard the five aggregates of grasping as self, they...
