It is like mistaking a rope for a snake upon seeing it. Later, "through habituating the path" means that the path is habituated by aiming at any truth. The uncontaminated path of meditating without seeing the truth does not exist. Thus, "the view of the aggregates of destruction is one" means that one only abandons it by seeing suffering, as one has wrongly entered suffering in the form of self and what belongs to self. "The adherence to extremes is also the same as those" means that because one adheres to the extremes of permanence and annihilation on the object that one manifestly desires as self, one only abandons it by seeing suffering, as one has wrongly entered suffering alone. "Wrong views are of four kinds" means that because one begins to slander the characteristics of truths such as suffering, one has wrongly entered all four truths, so one only abandons them by seeing the four truths. Similarly, "holding views as supreme is also only of four kinds," because it is seeing what is inferior as supreme. Among them, aiming at what is abandoned by seeing the origin, cessation, and path is what is abandoned by seeing the origin, cessation, and path. Similarly, because it has the form of doubt, one has wrongly entered everything, so one only abandons it by seeing the truth as it is. "Holding moral discipline and asceticism as supreme is of two kinds" means that holding what is not a cause, such as Ishvara, as the cause itself arises from permanence and self and perversion, so one only abandons it by seeing suffering. Holding what is not the path as the path, one only abandons it by seeing the path. What are these like? They are those that rely on the five afflictions such as desire. "Which ones have the aim of what is abandoned by seeing" is explained in detail: whichever desires, etc., aim at the view that is abandoned by seeing suffering, those are abandoned by seeing suffering, up to those that aim at what is abandoned by seeing the path, those are abandoned by seeing the path. "This is mutually dependent" is the word of the debater. Among them, what is abandoned by seeing is by the aim itself of what is abandoned by seeing, desires, etc.

It should be combined with... Although holding views is not what is abandoned by seeing, it is the object of what is abandoned by seeing, so it is the object of what is to be abandoned. The elder Dusaang said that there is no mutual dependence between them. If those who take what is abandoned by seeing suffering as their object, then that is what is abandoned by seeing suffering. What is abandoned by seeing the origin also takes what is abandoned by seeing suffering as its object, so those should also become what is abandoned by seeing suffering. Similarly, because of taking what is abandoned by seeing cessation and the path and what is abandoned by meditation as their objects, what is abandoned by seeing cessation and the path and what is abandoned by meditation will also be separated. Similarly, what is abandoned by seeing suffering should also be said. It is not taking what is abandoned by seeing cessation and the path as its object. What should be said is what is to be abandoned? Here, from itself, views and doubts, etc., have not entered wrongly. The nature here is explained by what is abandoned by seeing, because there is no difference between the two, so the idea of wanting to understand them separately arises. For example, what? These are called what is abandoned by seeing, etc. Therefore, for what is abandoned by seeing suffering and the origin, there is no fault of becoming another object here. Similarly, the subtle increase of ignorance is like desire, etc., because of the difference between the two, from the realization of the truth itself, by taking what is abandoned by seeing the truth as its object, it will become what is abandoned by seeing. But it is not for taking the truth of suffering, etc., as its object. Therefore, it is explained separately. Seeing the object of suffering is seeing suffering. That is, what is abandoned by the forbearance of knowing the Dharma, etc., is what is abandoned by seeing suffering. It is the same up to what is abandoned by seeing the path. The basis of seeing is the habituation of the consciousness of suffering, etc., from which what is abandoned is what is abandoned by meditation. Here, for the subtle increase that has wrongly entered the truths, which is not like direct wrong views, because there is no holding, it is not asked based on this, but only desire, etc.
