Therefore, the main is not spoken of. Due to the power of desire, the so-called "others" refer to hatred and so on. As it is said in the sutra, "Hatred arises from joy." Pride and so on should also be understood as similar to this. Therefore, it will not increase by focusing on the realms of non-outflow and inequality, because there is no desire in them. This will be explained below. The so-called "things are regarded as self, and possessed by craving." There, the word "other" means that some are not regarded as kinds there. The scholar says that the word "thus" should be regarded as merely meaning fulfillment. However, if the meaning here is summarized and must be expressed elsewhere, then desire is the subtle increase of desire in the three realms. It should be understood how it affects other things accordingly. Or, just as the nature and form of desire and anger are different, and their subtle increases are also different, in the same way, the differences in the subtle increases of pride and other things should also be understood from the nature and other aspects of them. In all cases, the differences in subtle increases that are shown will be explained here with effort. If someone asks why certain forms are not regarded as the cause of subtle increase here, then, due to the power of desire, other subtle increases increase due to this cause, which is exactly what the word "thus" indicates. What contradiction is there in showing it later? If someone asks, since hatred cannot exist in the three realms, then why are other subtle increases also mentioned like desire? It should also be understood accordingly. If so, then is the word "thus" meaningless? There is no need for difference and non-difference in nature, so what does the word "thus" mean here? The phrase "completely abandoning together with subtle increase" is an example here that contradicts the sutra, because that itself is not allowed to exist with it. The so-called subtle increase of desire in the desire realm is associated with the three feelings, which are pleasure, displeasure, and equanimity. Non-association is like birth and so on, which is pleasure.

Etc., these should not have equality. Therefore, since it is said to have equality with happiness, etc., it is considered that only the Abhisamaya (梵文,梵文天城体,Abhisamaya,现观) of Dharma (梵文,梵文天城体,Dharma,法) has subtlety, and not the non-having. If it is said to contradict the Dharma Abhisamaya, then others say that there is no contradiction, because it is considered to have equality. If non-having is established as subtlety, then it is necessary to examine here whether it is necessary to consider having equality, and not elsewhere. Having subtlety means having subsequent connection, which is its meaning. Of the nine types of afflictions, the later afflictions are the subsequent connections of the earlier afflictions. In this way, even if eight types of afflictions to be abandoned have been abandoned through meditation, there are still nine types of subsequent connections. Therefore, considering complete abandonment, it is said that abandoning having subtlety means having subsequent connection. There are many kinds of statements about this. The sutra says that all sins and non-virtuous dharmas will cease, which means that without subsequent connection, having subtlety will also cease. Others say that the ability to produce a similar cause is the subsequent connection. The sound of subtlety appears in the sutra because it is established on attainment, so there is no contradiction with the sutra. For example, just as it is said "non-suffering," because the result is established on the cause, and suffering is a kind of difference in feeling, because it is its cause, fire is also called suffering. Similarly, here, because attainment is the cause of subtlety, it is expressed by the sound of subtlety. Therefore, saying abandoning having subtlety means abandoning having attainment. Because it has characteristics, the sound of subtlety only applies to afflictions such as desire, because they are subtle, and the two subsequent connections will increase, which is the characteristic of subtlety, and because it is reasonable, having characteristics means having characteristics, means having characteristics. For attainment, there is no such characteristic of subtlety, so it is a close-range establishment, so it is expressed by sound for attainment. Auspicious Holy One.
