It is not necessary to say. Since it is impossible to completely cling to complete Nirvana, how can one take without being given by the Buddha? Therefore, when the Blessed One completely entered Nirvana, he spoke those words in order to completely gather all of them. It is for the sake of taking care of the givers. Some say that those stolen things were taken from those who did not give. If that were the case, it would not become a great fault. The so-called ownerless is the treasure of the childless, that is, taken without being given by the lord of the land. The property of the dead is the belongings of a dead monk, such as robes and so on. If you go to a pregnant woman, it will harm the fetus in her womb. If you go to a nursing infant, the milk will not increase. From the lord of the land, etc., it will be explained in detail. If you go to a bhikkhuni, you will commit adultery out of desire. Therefore, just as with one's own wife, one should not commit adultery. Even from the king, if there is really no other way, even if you take it from the king the next day, it is intolerable. False words, changing thoughts, etc., will be explained in detail. Due to the relationship between the speaker and the listener, the path of lying is born, otherwise it is not. In order to explain this, whatever speaks the truth will be explained in detail. If it is not understood, it will become nonsense. Because all afflictions are nonsense. For example, words like cow also have the same letters. If someone says that this analysis is not valid. Therefore, it is said that some words have many letters and so on. Finally, combined with non-expression. There, the meaning will surely be clearly understood, so it is said that way. The previous letters are conjunctions. The ending is non-expression. Or, from where the meaning is understood, that is to say, although there is no difference in the speaker changing his mind in all cases, it depends on whether the listener understands that meaning to determine whether it is a real path of action. This is to be explained.

Therefore, the preceding words are conjunctions, and the following words, together with the non-modifiable words, are the ending. The reason for saying extensively "because it is the object of consciousness" is that ear consciousness is only the object of the nature of sound itself, and there is no discrimination. For the word "name," because it relies on the understanding of words to understand the meaning, the meaning of words is only the object of consciousness, not the object of ear consciousness. Ear consciousness takes the present sound as its object, therefore, the modifiable part of what is taken, because it disappears simultaneously with ear consciousness, only the non-modifiable part can become the path of karma, not the modifiable part. If that were the case, if they also did so, it would become two kinds, which contradicts what was said. "Sound" refers to the relationship between name and the named. Regarding "because it is not indicated, it is like being dead," some say that form, sound, and dharma are good, non-good, and unspecified, while smell, taste, and touch are only one kind of unspecified, so it is like being dead. Some say that at death, no good or non-good dharmas follow, but unspecified dharmas do follow, therefore, because it is un-obscured and unspecified, it is like being dead. Others say that the three faculties are encountering objects, and because encountering is not considered understanding, the three objects are called understanding. If someone asks, what is the basis for saying that the self-experience of nose, tongue, and body consciousness is understanding? The Vaibhashikas say that there are sutras and reasoning. Therefore, for the three objects, namely form, sound, and dharma, the names of seeing, hearing, and knowing are applied in order, so it can be understood that smell, taste, and touch, which are located in between, are called understanding. If it is not thought so, that is, if it is not thought that smell, etc., are understanding. Among the things of seeing, etc.

English
The reason for saying "except for..." is that terms such as seeing, hearing, and appearance are established for form, sound, and dharma, and because form, sound, dharma, and nature are not the same, smells, tastes, and tactile objects are not included among things like seeing. Therefore, if names cannot be established for things like smells, then establishing names for things like smells is also visible. Therefore, it can be definitively said that those things are called "awareness." For the time being, the sutras are not authoritative because their meanings are different. Here, the meaning is: Just as for you, in the past, present, and future, regarding things like form, from seeing to not fully understanding, and because they are not real, desires, attachments, etc. for their objects do not arise, are not arising, and will not arise. Similarly, simply because of firmly holding on, for the interval from seeing to fully understanding, desires and attachments for their objects also do not arise, are not arising, and will not arise, because they arise from unreal conceptual thoughts. This is its meaning. To show this, it is said in detail, "Then, what is it like? Here, you, regarding these six kinds of objects..." If this sutra is not specifically showing names such as seeing, then what should be said is what seeing is, and what is in the interval until complete understanding? To the statement "Because seeing etc. are not included among things, names cannot be established for smells etc.," the answer is that for each of these five kinds of objects, it is said in detail.
