Therefore, it is not because of killing that life is cut off. It is also not because the present aggregates cease that life is cut off. Then what is it? The so-called life is something that grows. How does one say that wind relies on mind? Because it operates relying on mind. For example, entering into cessation and non-perception samadhi, entering samadhi and death will not occur. Cutting it off is because it is cut off due to being contrary to its continuation. For example, the nature of life is the proximate cause that contradicts future birth, when the moment of life now manifests cessation, the moment of life in the future has the nature of birth, it will not become the cause of birth, therefore the continuation will be cut off. And the author who promotes the cause of birth and death will also be touched by the sin of killing. For example, it is like extinguishing a lamp or a bell sound. The moment of the lamp now ceases, it does not cause the lamp to go out, but because it hinders the production of the future moment. The bell sound and the life force are also the same principle. Whose is the so-called life? Life is mine, connected with intention, therefore it is alive. If there is no intention, then whose is life? Therefore, the body with the senses is not called my Atman, therefore the life force is its, not mine. Cutting off life by abandoning the mind beforehand, when speaking extensively about this, the word "also" is not just abandoning the mind beforehand. For example, just as fire and touch will cause burning. Whether or not the mind is abandoned beforehand, it will burn, because touch has a result. Killing beings is also the same principle. According to these views, then seeing and touching another's wife will also be a transgression, just as seeing and touching another's wife, for those with desire, will become unlawful, for others without desire, such as fathers and sons, even without abandoning the mind beforehand, it will also become unlawful.

It will become like that. If a naked person pulls hair and gets angry, then desiring merit will also be associated with what is not Dharma. If one proclaims the words of fierce asceticism, like desiring something meaningless, becoming a teacher who bestows benefit, or being associated with other sins. Those who say "that sound is dead," just as naked people give poisoned food to harm that sound, giving to benefit him, desiring merit also becomes sinful. Mothers and fetuses in the womb will also become associated with sin, because they mutually become the cause of suffering. If, using the example of fire, it is thought that killing a living being before abandoning consciousness is also a sin, then the one to be killed is also related to that action, because it is related to the action of killing, it will become something that is not Dharma, just as fire itself burns its support. Fire first burns its own support and then burns other things, similarly, death first makes its own support something to be killed and combines it with what is not Dharma, and then it will cause the killer to combine. If there is no intention towards the one to be killed, then the one to be killed and the killer have the same reason, what certainty is there about this? Similarly, it should also be said for seeing and touching the wives of others, etc., because the example of fire can prove the burning of one's own support. Furthermore, because the nature of fire is admitted, even causing someone to do it will not become a sin, which is explained in detail, because it is merely the reason for admitting sin. Things without mind, such as wood, are also explained in detail, such as wood, bamboo, and bricks, etc. If a house collapses and living beings die, then wood, etc., which belong to it, will also become sinful. Alternatively, without a reason, it cannot be established by mere analogy, because it will become the fault as stated above. Some people think that because there is no complete acceptance, stealing from a stupa will not become taking what is not given, that is why they think so. Because it is taking what is not given from the Buddha, it is said
