Because all the obscurations of liberation from the formless realm are eliminated, the remaining purity is the main thing. The fourth dhyana is the limit and ground of the form realm, it is the limit of all the grounds of the form realm, and there is the third liberation there, so it is said that it should be directly realized only there. Similarly, the peak of existence is the limit and ground of the realm, it is the limit of all the grounds of the formless realm, and the eighth liberation is also its ground, therefore it is said that it should be directly realized there. Others say that other sutras say that everything can be directly realized, and the sutra says that the eight dharmas are to be directly realized, that is, the eight liberations. It is also said that these eight liberations are directly realized by the body in accordance with the law, and then they are fully accomplished and abide. This is not the case, because except for these two sutras, all other sutras say that only two paths can be directly realized, therefore the question and answer are reasonable. The first three depend on the desire realm, and are only born to gods and humans. Otherwise, the unpleasant sounds of the north, because of dullness, and because it is the antidote to desire realm attachment, it is not in the form and formless realms. Except for the last one, the remaining three are in all three realms, because they are directly realized by relying on everything. The sphere of infinite space. ཨཱུཔ་པནྣ་སྟུ་བི་བརྡྷ་ཡེ་དེ་བཾ་ཡཱཾ་བནྣ་པ་སཾ་ཛྙཱ་ན་སཾ་ཛྙཱ་ཡ་ཏ་ན།(梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) The first liberation is first born only in the desire and form realms. For those who have not separated from desire, because there is no birth there, it is the liberation of the sphere of infinite space. In the desire and form realms, one or two or three arise sequentially from below the formless realm. Its birth is because it grows on its own ground, so it is the first liberation. Because of the inner form thought, the yogi who meditates on form, in order to rely on detachment from it, looks at the outer forms with an impure appearance. It generates unpleasant thoughts about the inner form with sharp discriminating wisdom, this is its meaning.

That is to say, one should regard one's own body as if it were a decaying corpse. To despise is to be filthy, like losing the root entirely. Thus, a corporeal being looks at a corporeal object, and combines one's own body with the corporeal object in the same way, contemplating that it is filled with thirty-six impure things, like something residing inside a very clear jewel box. The completion of this state is the first liberation. Whatever the mind is inconsistent with desire, turns away, is mentioned, and is reversed, that is liberation. Saying so means non-attachment, because it is said to look at the first liberation, etc. If asked whether it arises from the nature of wisdom, it is not so; only the nature of non-attachment is wisdom. By teaching this, only the nature of wisdom becomes most closely manifest, therefore becoming the antidote to ignorance. Because it is not attachment, therefore, in the order as previously stated, the inner. The perception of form has no function; it is continuous. In that very skilled state with the distinction of bliss, focusing on form, thinking in a inconsistent manner, is called the second liberation. That is confused due to attachment to the self; what was previously considered impure, now there is no strong attachment to form, and it becomes very pure. Due to the difference in the state of focus, entering the second dhyana, through this order, perceiving in an inconsistent manner, thereby accomplishing the second liberation. If asked how one can be happy, just as understanding suffering through the power of earth, in order to show that one should do good, therefore good arises. (མུ་ཀྟ་ཤྩ་སཽ་ཏེ་བྷྱོ་རཱུ་པེ་བྷྱ་ཨི་ཏི།,Muktāśca sautebhyo rūpebhyah iti, from liberation and beneficial forms, etc.) That is accomplishing happiness in an inconsistent manner. Therefore, one should accomplish the third dhyana. From the third to the fourth dhyana, and then relying on the fourth dhyana, one should contemplate the ugly form that is practiced in desire. Liberation is also from those forms, from various forms. Taking jewels, clothes, and flowers, etc., as signs, one thinks that the form as previously stated is a sign of beauty and ugliness. When one becomes weary of this, then...
