If asked, "Since that is the case, isn't there an obvious fondness for color?" The answer is, "Although there is, it is not like the first dhyana realm, which does not have consciousness with the sole object of color as its object, therefore it does not possess the same function as eye consciousness. The attachment practiced there, only those two aspects that make the object repulsive are established as the impure liberation in the second dhyana, and not others." The so-called "as their number" means that the antidote for the color practiced in the desire realm is the impure liberation, which is the impure liberation of the first dhyana realm; and the antidote for the attachment to color in the first dhyana realm is the liberation of the second dhyana realm. It should be known that these two aspects are also antidotes for cutting off obstacles. The so-called "third ultimate" refers to the fact that from the proximity of the fourth dhyana and below, and in one's own realm, there are such roots of virtue, but because there is nothing more excellent than that, the name of liberation cannot be obtained. Obtaining what is in accordance with impurity is that virtue, Ashura, which was also the impure liberation before. Furthermore, what is the antidote for the attachment to color in the desire realm practice and the first dhyana realm, and in accordance with the attachment to color in the second dhyana, and, observing with an unreasonable way of turning away, that is it. The antidote for the attachment to color is the very place of liberation, and it is not permissible to observe in order to accomplish it. Impure liberation is not in the first and second dhyanas, nor is it in the third dhyana, because being driven by the essence of happiness, it is impossible to have the thought of turning away from it. Therefore, it must be determined that the third dhyana is the last, and it is also without attachment, because it is the antidote for attachment. The so-called "those together with their retinue are the nature of the five aggregates" means that here the form aggregate is the accompanying form. The so-called "there are also inequalities in other places" refers to considering and speaking about the mind and mental factors born from the ripening of karma. Others say that it is not, because it is virtuous. Furthermore, the existence of death, obtained by the maturation of Phronia

It should be known to establish the mind. Whatever arises from union arises without interruption. Why is it that the path of liberation, which is uninterrupted and arises from union, also attains the name of liberation? Others say that because of focusing on the lower path and suppressing it, the eight liberations are not attained. Moreover, since it turns away from what is not a lower ground, liberation is established for the formless realms. Therefore, the meaning of liberation is the meaning of turning one's back. Among them, the first is to turn one's back on attachment to color. The third is to the unpleasant. The formless ones turn their backs on the lower absorptions and all objects of focus. The so-called "perception and feeling" is because of turning one's back on perception and turning one's back on feeling. The so-called "turning one's back on all perceptions" means that it is the meaning of turning one's back on entering into all objects of focus. Others say that it is for liberation from the obscurations of absorption. What is the obscuration of absorption? It is anything that makes the mind unusable. Even those who are free from desire for the three realms cannot generate the actual basis of the first dhyana. Therefore, liberation from that obscuration is called liberation because of abandonment. Others say that it is the liberation of cessation absorption because it turns away from all entrances of objects of focus. Therefore, the so-called "having made it extremely subtle" is from focusing on cessation to making it extremely subtle. Thus, the mind of absorption is with outflows, which is widely discussed. The peak of existence is subtle, and because it turns away from the entrance with objects of focus, the mind of absorption is with outflows. It is the mind of absorption with outflows of the lower ground, not the mind of rising. What arises from the union of the lower ground is coarse here, and because it is not an immediate cause, things cannot exist, so the outflowless is the lower ground, which is assembled.
