Similarly, since they exist by distinction, the differences in their births must also be acknowledged. Therefore, only the form of the intermediate state of the Sarvastivadins is considered to be the most clear, while the others are not. If it is thought that the form born in the formless realm is clear because it is not perceived by the eyes of the lower realms, and therefore only they are formless, while the intermediate state and others are not, then the statement "the form born in meditative absorption is also" will appear in detail. That is, from the sense faculty of the first dhyana, the form of the second dhyana and so on is not perceived, and similarly, from the sense faculty of the third dhyana, the form of the fourth dhyana is not perceived, because the form of the higher realm is the most clear. If that is the case, then what is the difference between that and those who are called form-goers in the formless realm? If it is said that the names of these two are consistent with their meaning, namely the desire realm and the form realm, what is completely distinguished by the qualities of desire is the desire realm, and what is completely distinguished by form is the form realm. The formless realm is not, that is, the name of the formless realm is not consistent with its meaning. Then, if it is said to be arbitrary, what is the reason for that? The reason is valid cognition, which is inference, because the names of the two are consistent with their meaning, while the formless realm is not. If from that vow of desire, it is understood from inference, then in the formless realm, the inference of the existence of form is not seen. Completely accepting the scriptures, that is, if life and warmth are mixed, this statement will appear in detail. The sutra says, "Venerable Mahakaushthila, what is life and what is warmth, these dharmas are mixed." Therefore, since there is life there, there will also be warmth. Also, the sutra says, "Venerable Shariputra, for example, two reed stalks are standing in the sky, and these two rely on each other and support each other. If one of them is removed, the other will fall. If the second one is removed, the other will fall."

O! Venerable Shariputra, similarly, name and form also exist in mutual dependence, mutual dependence, and mutual dependence, which is extensively explained. Because there is name, it will not be eaten by ghosts, and if there is no form, it will become with form, because it is impossible for only name to exist without relying on form. In the Sutra of Dependent Arising, it is said that name and form arise from consciousness as a condition. In this regard, when there is no form, at the moment of self-connection, there is consciousness, and name arises from it as a condition, and it will definitely exist simultaneously, because name and form arise from consciousness as a condition. Between actions, it is widely said "other". The sutra says, monks, consciousness approaches form, takes form as its object, and exists relying on form, which is extensively explained. Monks, if someone says this: I am different from form, different from feeling, different from perception, different from action, consciousness goes, comes, or arises elsewhere, then his words are just empty words, which is extensively explained. From that scripture, it is also established that there is form, because it prevents consciousness from going and coming outside of form. If you say so, it is not right, because it should be analyzed. It means that from this scripture, in the formless realm, the existence of form is not established, because this scripture itself should be analyzed. However, the meaning of "from everything" is a synonym for everything in the three realms. Someone says that I only consider the time when acting in the desire realm, and then say that life and warmth are mixed. Because in that sutra it says, Venerable Shariputra, what are these five faculties, they are different realms of activity, different objects, which is extensively explained. What are the realms of activity and the experienced objects of these? What are the supports of these? Venerable Mahakashyapa, what are these five faculties, as before, up to the body faculty. The realm of activity and the experienced object of these is the mind. The support of these is the mind. Venerable Shariputra, the support of the mind is...
