It only possesses that. Otherwise, it is not mistaken in thinking, like smoke on fire. The statement that "those have also explained the births" is: In the formless realm, there is no dwelling, From birth, there are four kinds. This is its meaning. Because it is the subsequent formless. The statement that "because it is the subsequent formless" means that it is the formless of meditation and uncontaminated discipline. The statement that "from the lower ground, born from solitude" is that these do not arise from each other like the limbs of meditation, but it should be said that they themselves are different. Therefore, solitude refers to the path that separates the desires of the lower realms. Because this can distinguish, it is solitude. The phrase "separated from desire, it will turn its back" is the meaning of this word. The statement that "like a little hail" is that just as a little hail is called a little hail, because there is a little bit of form, it is formless. The statement that "if those are not there, how" is if there is no body and speech. The statement that "in its discipline" is that it will become the discipline of body and speech. In the formless realm, it is not possible to arise without arising and be transformed by arising, because there is no transformation by arising without relying on arising, no transformation by arising without entering, and no transformation by arising. If it is said that "like uncontaminated discipline," for example, even if there is no uncontaminated arising, uncontaminated discipline has form transformed by arising, similarly, the arising that practices in the formless realm, the nature of the discipline of body and speech, the form transformed by arising, will exist in the practice in the formless realm. The statement that "no, because there is contaminated arising" is because uncontaminated discipline is uncontaminated arising. Wherever one is born, one takes the arising there as the cause, so it is arising, not not relying on arising. Therefore, in the formless realm, the discipline of body and speech does not enter relying on the arising of other grounds, nor is it not relying on arising, because it is the very ground of the formless realm. The statement that "because there is contaminated arising" is that the example and its example are similar.

There is not. The statement "it is refuted even in meditative absorption" means that even in the formless meditative absorption, there is no arising of vows, because there is no source for it. Regarding "other vows," it has already been explained that they do not arise by taking the source of others as the cause. Because it is said that "in all aspects, they have completely transcended the perception of form," others say that those are refuted. That is to negate the form that necessarily arises from the nature of form, the form that arises in that way. However, "the body also" refers to the abdomen. "The sense faculties with form are also present" refers to the eyes and so on. If one thinks that those have a little form, it is because one thinks that not all forms exist, so one does not think that there is a little form. Regarding "because of the small size," if one says that not all forms do not exist, so one says there is a little form, then the statement "because of the small size" would also widely apply to aquatic animals. For those who do not appear like aquatic beings, it would also lead to the conclusion that they have no form. If one says "because of being first," if one thinks that it is because the form is first that those have a little form, and not because of the small size, then it would also lead to the same conclusion for the intermediate state beings and the form realm beings. Those, because they are first, can travel unhindered through mountains of vajra nature, therefore it would also lead to the conclusion that those have no form. Regarding "there is nothing more first than that," it means that form realm beings are more first than desire realm beings, and formless realm beings are more first than form realm beings. There is nothing more first than that. Therefore, only formless realm beings are, and not intermediate state beings and form realm beings. If one says that only the peak of existence is formless, and the three, such as the sphere of infinite space, are not, because there is no form more first than them. Why? Because, like meditative absorption, the arising is particularly excellent. Just as the meditative absorptions of the sphere of infinite space and so on cease very, very excellently.
