La. There are two types of dharmas associated with desire realm: those that are co-existent and those that are not. Similarly, there are also two types associated with form realm, and two types associated with formless realm. There are also two types of uncontaminated dharmas: those that are co-existent and those that are not. The distinction between virtuous and neutral is as follows: virtuous refers to the cessation of discrimination, because the term "virtuous" arises for the sake of supreme liberation. Neutral refers to space and the cessation that is not discrimination, because there are terms such as "neutral." Among these, the object of conventional knowledge is all ten dharmas, because the conventional realm is all. The statement that there are five types of dharma knowledge refers to the co-existent and non-co-existent dharmas that operate in the desire realm, focusing on suffering and its origin. For those in accordance with dharma knowledge, the co-existent and non-co-existent uncontaminated dharmas focus on the truth of the path. The object of the truth of cessation is unconditioned virtue, because unconditioned neutral is not included in the truth, so it is not the object of uncontaminated knowledge. The statement that there are six types operating in the form and formless realms and uncontaminated realms refers to the distinction between co-existent and non-co-existent. The statement that there are six types, namely those operating in the desire, form, and formless realms, refers to the distinction between each co-existent and non-co-existent. The statement that there are two types of path knowledge refers to the co-existent and non-co-existent uncontaminated dharmas. The statement that those operating in the desire and form realms, as well as the uncontaminated and co-existent ones, is because the knowledge of others' minds is not a corresponding action, or because it does not focus on the formless realm. The statement that the objects of the knowledge of exhaustion and non-arising are nine dharmas means that the objects of the knowledge of exhaustion and non-arising are nine dharmas, because each focuses on the truths such as suffering in the three realms. The statement "except for the unconditioned neutral" is because it is not included in the truth.

It is except for the fact that those who know cessation and non-arising are the objects of truth. The term "the dharmas that arise together with it" refers to feelings and other mental events, as well as their attainment, birth, and so on. They do not grasp their own essence. Why don't they grasp their own essence? Because the object and the subject are different. The object is different from the subject because it is contradictory for oneself to act on oneself, just as the tip of a finger and the edge of a sword do not touch or cut themselves. The followers of Abhidharma say that if something does not arise because something is incomplete, then that is the cause of it, but it is not the case that things do not arise because their own essence is incomplete, because their own essence always exists, so that is not a fault. If we examine this, there would be much to say, so let us stop here. If mind and mental events are not the objects of their own essence, then would they not become the objects of each other? It is said that they are not the objects of each other, because they have the same object. If mind and mental events are the objects of each other because they have the same object, then they would not become objects by their own essence, because there is no difference between the object and the subject. If that is the case, then would they not grasp something that is not in union with their own aggregate, because the object and the subject are different? Therefore, it is said that because they are very close, they do not grasp what is not in union, because they are so close, just as one does not see eye medicine and eye medicine spoons, etc., that are near the eye. In the Sutra, it is also seen that "in one moment, all dharmas are not objects," as it says: "There is no one, whether a renunciate or a Brahmin, who knows or sees everything all at once." Now, "because they focus on the severed realm" means that the uninterrupted path and the path of liberation focus on the lower and upper realms in order. The objects of the path of application and the path of distinction are also only a few in one realm, as appropriate, but not all. The path of application that is in accordance with the definitive discrimination
