Because of the bond of joining with the earth, rebirth arises. Because of the desire to manifest karma, it arises, and therefore a body corresponding to it is born. Among these, the fourth is the direct cause of rebirth. The second is the specific cause of rebirth. Like a field for fruit, this is the third, which is the condition. The indirect cause of rebirth is like a sprout of fruit. The fourth is the arising. The four desires are the direct and indirect abilities, and are called the root cause and the root. Or, for individuals who purify existence, the four desires are five groups and two groups of four. As just said. Monks, if there is a thought of "I," this is the root cause of common gathering. Among these, the first group of five is the thought of "I am like this," the thought of "I am like that," the thought of "not like that," the thought of "that is good," and the thought of "I am bad" arise, which are undifferentiatedly contained by the desire for the body. The second group of five is the thought of "it will arise from that" will arise, the thought of "it will not arise from that," the thought of "it will arise like this," the thought of "it will arise like that," and the thought of "it will not arise like that" will arise. This group of five is the second desire for rebirth without distinction. The first group of four is the thought of "may it become like that" will arise, the thought of "may it become like this," the thought of "may it become like that," and the thought of "may it become unlike that" arise. This group of four is the third desire for rebirth without distinction. The second group of four is the thought of "what harm even if it becomes like that," the thought of "what harm even if it becomes like this," the thought of "what harm even if it becomes like that," and the thought of "what harm even if it becomes unlike that" will arise. This is the fourth desire for connecting continuity. Among these, the first is the first cause of suffering is the root cause, therefore it is the root cause, and it should be connected in detail as before. Because there is no entering, it is cessation, which means for the pacification of the entering of afflictions and birth.

Oṃ. Peace is for the cessation of suffering, and suffering is unceased, and that is only birth. How is it? Therefore, monks, it is said in detail, "If it is so." Because there is nothing higher, it is excellent, and it is not permissible to say that it is excellent for those who have something higher. Also, because of non-retrogression, it is definitely arising, and what is not constant is not definitely arising. Because it becomes like a path, it is called the path, which is a synonym for being in accordance with the path and the Dharma. Because one enters as it is, it is called reason, and what does not enter as it is is not reason. Because of individual determination, it is accomplishment, and individual determination is the determination of Nirvana. Because one proceeds only by that. The sound for this is, as it is said, appears in detail. Or, for the perverted views of permanence, happiness, self, and selfhood, etc., it appears in detail, and for those who hold the perverted view that all conditioned things are permanent, it is the aspect of impermanence. For those who hold the perverted view that all conditioned things are happiness, it is the aspect of suffering. For those who hold the perverted view that all conditioned things are mine, it is the aspect of emptiness. For those who hold the perverted view that all conditioned things are self, it is the aspect of no-self. For those who hold the perverted view that all conditioned things are without cause, it is the aspect of cause. For those who hold the perverted view that the cause of all things is the only one, such as Īśvara, it is the aspect of arising. For those who hold the perverted view that it is change, it is the aspect of birth. It is the first to appear and is birth, but it is not change. Or change is a synonym for aging. Birth is a synonym for birth. For those who hold the perverted view that the mind is the one who leads first, it is the aspect of condition, and the word condition is the word of the cause that has not led first. In the beginningless, etc., for the continuum of birth, just as there is no beginning, there is also no end, and the antidote for those who have wrong views is the aspect of cessation.
